What in the Name of Farquaad is Going On?

Alright alright settle down ya' bunch of fairytale creatures! Seems this whole 'trade policy' thing is messier than a mud bath after a dragon sneeze. This Kantrowitz fella over at Piper Sandler is saying that since ol' Donny Trump started throwin' tariffs around like confetti investors are jumpier than Pinocchio at a lumberjack convention. The market's been swingin' back and forth like Donkey tryin' to dance a jig and nobody likes that. Makes even an ogre nervous!

Quality? Like My Mud Baths?

So what's an ogre to do? Kantrowitz bless his pointy little head reckons we gotta focus on quality. And I ain't talkin' about the quality of my outhouse! He's talkin' about stocks with strong foundations like my swamp's got strong mud. He's sayin' that the best thing to do is hold companies with a bunch of cash a history of earnings and are making money. Basically find companies that are making green like me!

Alphabet Soup and Uber Rides: Ogre Approved!

Now he throws out a couple of names. First there's Alphabet. You know those Google folks. Apparently they've had a rough year kinda like when I accidentally sat on Fiona's tiara. But they're still rakin' in the dough with their search and advertising. Plus they're splurgin' on the latest tech. Then there's Uber. Seems everyone's hopin' to be rich by drivin' folks around. As far as I am concerned that is like paying someone to take you to your destination when you can go on foot! But those guys are doing just fine and making money!

More Gems Than Dragon's Hoard!

But wait there's more! He also likes Booking Holdings Eli Lilly and Vistra. Eli Lilly's got some new obesity cure which is ironic because if anyone needed that is me. Vistra everyone thought their stocks would be worth somethin' and now it is not. Wall Street is hoping their stocks do well!

My Two Ogre Cents (Worth More Than Farquaad's Gold)

So what's the takeaway here? Well these Wall Street types are tellin' us to be careful out there. This Trump fella is movin' things back and forth like he's playin' ping pong. But if you find yourself companies that are makin' green and doing well and keep holdin' them... you just might end up better than everyone else!
