Fox Gets Caliente! Shrek's Take on the Streaming Swamp!

What in the Name of Donkey is Caliente TV?

Alright alright settle down you meddling kids! Shrek here reporting from my humble abode... which is surprisingly quiet since those darn Seven Dwarfs stopped using it as a crash pad. Seems Fox Corp. the big cheese folks decided to buy themselves a new toy: Caliente TV. Now I ain't no fancy businessman but even I know that's a Mexican sports thingy. Apparently they’re trying to hog all the sports viewing before anyone else can! Like Donkey always says "Pick me! Choose me!" Seems Fox heard him all the way from Duloc!

Executive Swamp Shuffling!

And guess what? They even got themselves a new swamp thing – I mean Executive Vice President – some fella named Carlos Martinez. Worked at Turner Discovery and even Fox before. Seems like a real globetrotter. He's all gung ho about building a big sports streaming business in Mexico. Good for him I say! More power to him even if it means more shouting at the TV when my favorite mud wrestling show gets interrupted.

Streaming: It's All Ogre Now!

Word on the street (or should I say swamp) is that streaming is all the rage now. Apparently more folks are watching the moving pictures on their glowing rectangles than on those old timey boxes. Who knew? So Fox is bulking up its sports content. They want to win this streaming war apparently. It's like trying to win an argument with Donkey; you're better off just letting him have it.

Fox One: Coming Soon to a Swamp Near You?

They're even launching their own streaming service called Fox One. Sounds fancy. And they already got Tubi which is free... 'cause who wants to pay for anything when you can get it for free right? It's like getting a free onion! But is it layered? That's the real question!

Big Ten UFL and Cup a What Now?

Apparently Fox already has the rights to broadcast a bunch of sports stuff. Some Big Ten thingy The United Football League and something called the Premier League and the FA Cup. Sounds like a whole lotta running and kicking to me. Give me a good mud bath any day.

Get Off My Lawn! (or Swamp!)

So there you have it. Fox is getting bigger streaming is taking over and I'm still trying to enjoy my peace and quiet. Just remember kids whether you're watching on a fancy streaming service or a dusty old TV some of us just want to be left alone. Now get outta my swamp!
