A Shocking Revelation!

Good news everyone! I Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth have stumbled upon some rather... disturbing news. It seems that Ford that purveyor of fine horseless carriages is raising prices on their Mexican made models. Yes the Mustang Mach E the Maverick and the Bronco Sport are all about to become a bit more expensive. As I always say: 'I don't want to live on this planet anymore.' But unfortunately this is where my lab is.

Blame Game: The Tariff Menace!

The culprit you ask? Why none other than those pesky tariffs imposed by that orange faced fellow with the gravity defying comb over! Apparently these tariffs are costing Ford a king's ransom in overall costs for 2025. I shudder to think what this means for the future of my inventions. Will I have to start charging extra for doomsday devices? Oh the humanity!

Rivals in Disarray!

It's not just Ford feeling the pinch either. That rival company GM is also singing the blues claiming tariffs will cost them billions. It's a veritable symphony of economic woe! And what about Planet Express? I fear our profit margins will shrink faster than Leela's tolerance for Zapp Brannigan. To shreds you say?

The Price of Progress (and Tariffs)

Ford claims these price hikes are a 'usual' mid year thingamajig 'combined with some tariffs.' They even dare to say they haven't passed on the FULL cost to customers! As if that makes it any better! It reminds me of that time I tried to sell my Smell O Scope for a 'reasonable' price. No one wanted to smell Uranus apparently.

Automotive Armageddon?

These tariffs are causing all sorts of chaos in the auto industry. Forecasts are being pulled production is shifting and plants are idling. It's a regular robot uprising only with more paperwork! If this keeps up we'll all be riding around in pogo sticks powered by dark matter. Wait I should patent that!

A Glimmer of Hope (Maybe)

The White House has softened the tariffs a bit giving carmakers credits for US made parts. But they're still charging a hefty 25% on imported vehicles. Experts say car sales could plummet by over a million a year if these tariffs stick around. I'm getting too old for this! Time to invent a device that reverses economic policy. Now where did I put that quantum destabilizer...?
