Sam's Club is Doubling Down and Going ALL OUT! Can Costco Even Compete?!

Hold Up 15 New Stores A YEAR?!

Okay besties listen up! Sam's Club is about to go WILD! Chris Nicholas the CEO basically said 'We're not just gonna sit here we're gonna DOUBLE our membership!' And how are they doing that? By opening like FIFTEEN new stores a year! Fifteen! That's more stores than I have... uh... streaming setups... in my house. And they're remodeling ALL 600 of their locations. That’s like a LOT of free samples guys.

Remember When They Closed a BUNCH of Stores?

So back in 2018 Sam's Club was like 'Oops maybe we have too many stores,' and shut down 63 of them. It was a whole thing. But now? They're back baby! They were planning to open 30 in 5 years but now they're speeding things up. Talk about a glow up! It's like when I try a new skincare routine and suddenly my skin is like 'Oh NOW you care?'

Tariffs? What Tariffs?!

Now there's some stuff about tariffs and the economy and blah blah blah. Honestly my brain kinda short circuits when I hear the word 'tariff.' But basically even if things get a little… spicy… economically Sam's Club thinks they'll be fine. Why? Because people LOVE saving money! Especially when they can buy a YEAR'S SUPPLY of toilet paper in one go! Smart thinking Sam's Club. Very smart. Like genius level. Maybe I should start selling Poki branded bulk items? Poki sized cereal bags anyone?

Costco You Good?

So it's not just Sam's Club. Costco and BJ's are expanding too. It's like a warehouse club war! Costco is opening 28 new clubs (including some relocations) and BJ's is opening 25 30. It's like a real life version of Fortnite but instead of V Bucks we're fighting for discounted rotisserie chickens. May the best bulk buyer win!

Sam's Club opened a new store in Grapevine Texas and it's like stepping into a sci fi movie. No checkout lanes! All digital! It's like they're reading my mind! No more awkward small talk with the cashier while I'm buying 12 boxes of Pocky. This is the future people! And it's glorious!

Sam's Club is raking in the dough! Sales are up e commerce is booming and membership income is soaring. They're not saying exactly how many members they have but trust me it's A LOT. So basically Sam's Club is saying 'We're here to stay and we're gonna make it rain… with discounted paper towels!' Now if you'll excuse me I have a sudden urge to buy a pallet of bottled water.
