Wait What Just Happened?

Okay so like I was scrolling through my phone (obvi) probably looking at cute pics of Stormi and Aire (they're my whole life!) when I saw this article. Warren Buffett the Oracle of Omaha himself is stepping down as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway? I'm not a regular investor I'm a cool investor but this is kinda huge right? I mean he's like a legend. And I'm here thinking 'Is this real life? Is this just fantasy?'

Greg Abel: Who Is He?

So this Greg Abel guy is gonna be the new CEO. Apparently he's been vice chairman of non insurance operations which TBH sounds kinda boring. But Warren handpicked him so he must be legit. I'm thinking maybe Kris should manage my companies that will be smart and a real business move that's for sure. Maybe I should do some research and figure out if Berkshire Hathaway is a good investment. Kylie Cosmetics needs like serious diversifying.

Warren's Not Leaving Just Vibing

Okay phew! Warren's still gonna be the chairman. So like he's still gonna be around just not running the whole show. He said he'd be hanging around to help where he can which is cute. It's like when I try to help cook dinner... I mostly just take selfies with the ingredients. But hey moral support is important! At least I look good while doing it.

The Board Said 'Yasss!'

Apparently the Berkshire Hathaway board voted unanimously for Greg. Like no drama just pure support. It's kinda like when my family votes on what to order for takeout. Except you know with way more money and important consequences. I wonder if Kris had anything to do with it that lady is good at moving pieces around!

January 1 2026: Mark Your Calendars!

So Greg officially takes over on January 1 2026. That gives me like two years to figure out what a 'stock' actually is. Maybe I'll make a YouTube video about it. 'Kylie Learns About Investing!' It'll be iconic. This feels like when I first started Kylie Cosmetics OMG what a journey! I'm ready for the next chapter and maybe that involves Wall Street.
