Okay so like I woke up this Saturday and saw all these troops in D.C. I was like 'What is going ON?' Turns out President Trump had this HUGE military parade for the Army's 250th anniversary AND his birthday! Double the party double the drama right? He's always wanted a parade and now he's finally got it. Honestly sometimes I feel like I'm living in a movie.

Stormi Would Love This

There were tanks helicopters… the whole shebang! I'm sure Stormi would have been obsessed. But of course the parade had to start early 'cause of thunderstorms. Mother Nature trying to steal the show maybe? I mean I get it the spotlight is hard to share. "Is that a chicken?" Moment.

Commander in Chief Flex

Apparently this parade is Trump showing off his 'commander in chief' status. Okay werk! But some people weren't feeling it. Like they were protesting in almost 2,000 cities with 'No Kings Day' demonstrations. Talk about a mood. It's a full on split screen moment – D.C. celebrating and everyone else… not so much.

Feeling Some Tension

And the drama doesn't stop there! There were tensions in L.A. (classic TBH) and warnings about protests in Minnesota. It's like can we all just chill for a sec? Even Trump warned protesters in D.C. would be met with 'very big force.' Eek! That's intense even for 2024.

Expensive Taste Literally

The biggest tea? This whole spectacle could cost up to $45 million. Like that's a LOT of lip kits! People are questioning whether it's a good use of money especially with all these tax cut plans. "Rise and shine!" But make it about government spending. Senator John Kennedy said he wouldn't spend the money on it. I mean relatable but also… not.

Greatest Weapons Ever!

Trump was like 'It's peanuts compared to the value!' He's all about the 'greatest missiles,' 'greatest submarines,' and 'greatest Army tanks.' Okay Mr. President we get it you're feeling yourself! I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens next. Stay tuned dolls!
