Okay dolls so I heard about this whole thing happening at the Strait of Hormuz. Apparently some tankers are turning around because things are getting a little...spicy. Like is this going to affect my gas prices? Because you know filling up the G Wagon is already a *lewk* that costs a fortune. "Rise and shine" but make it about global economics ya know?

Six Ships and a Whole Lotta Confusion

So like six ships decided to peace out. Two super big ones carrying crude oil three chemical tankers and one for refined products. I'm no scientist but that sounds like a lot of stuff we need. They were all empty or barely carrying anything. Empty like my brain before coffee. But get this: some of them like the 'South Loyalty,' 'Coswisdom Lake,' and 'Damsgaard,' did a whole 180 and headed back. Talk about indecisive am I right? It's like me deciding what lip kit to wear... except way more important.

Is It Safe to Ship?

Apparently after some drama between Iran and Israel fewer tankers wanted to go to the Middle East Gulf. Can you blame them? It's like would I want to go to a party where there's a 50% chance of a brawl? Nah. But things are kinda going back to normal which is good. I need my Kylie Skin products shipped safely okay?

GPS Glitches? Sounds Like a Glitch in the Matrix!

Then I heard about electronic interference and GPS jamming. Like what is this a sci fi movie? Can't even trust our GPS anymore! It's giving major trust issues. Maybe I should start using a paper map again? Said no one ever.

Tanker Tantrums and Insurance Issues

So one tanker company Frontline is like "Nah we're good we're not sailing through there anymore." Smart move. It's like when I avoid drama on Twitter – sometimes you just gotta protect your peace...and your assets! If enough companies do that it could mess with the oil supply. And we can't have that okay? My Range Rover needs fuel!

The Bottom Line? Let's Hope It Doesn't Affect My Private Jet

Basically things are tense. There's talk of Iran blocking the Strait of Hormuz and possibly attacking ships. All this talk about war is scary and I can't imagine a world without my Starbucks runs!
