Another War? Bah!
Hmph. Another conflict. Mortals and their endless thirst for blood and oil. The US led by the orange haired buffoon has struck Iranian targets. Foolish. He bellows promises of 'peace or tragedy'. As if he knows the meaning of either. I have seen more tragedy than this 'President' has eaten meals. But the markets? They merely yawn. Is this wisdom? Or simply... stupidity?
The Calm Before the Storm… or Just Calm?
The so called 'experts' predicted chaos. Oil prices to surge stocks to plummet. Instead? A slight wobble then… nothing. 'Investors aren't terribly panicked,' one scribbler dares to write. Are they blind? Do they not see the flames on the horizon? Or have they grown so accustomed to the fires of war that they no longer register the heat? Perhaps they require a Spartan kick to the chest to remind them of their mortality. BOI!
Iran's Dilemma: Rock and a Hard Place
Iran cornered like a beast in a trap. Retaliation is promised but options are few. Closing the Strait of Hormuz they say is one choice. But that would anger their allies those few pathetic souls willing to stand beside them. Secretary Rubio another loudmouth mortal urges China to intervene. As if China cares about anything but its own coffers. Mortals...always seeking someone else to fight their battles.
Economic Suicide or Just Plain Suicide?
Blocking the strait they say would be 'economic suicide' for Iran. As if death by starvation is somehow preferable to death by American fire. These mortals squabble over coins while the world burns. They remind me of the gods of Olympus feasting while their kingdom crumbled around them. It seems the stupidity is passed down through generations. Perhaps this is why I left the company of gods.
A Peaceful End?
One soothsayer Yardeni bets on peace. Peace? Ha! I have seen no peace in all my years. Only brief lulls between battles. But if Iran does back down the markets will cheer the oil will flow and the mortals will continue their relentless pursuit of… nothing. Perhaps they will return to their meaningless lives. Building consuming destroying. Until the next war. And the next.
The Key Question
The real question: will Iran retaliate against the US? Will they unleash their fury upon the American interests? The strategist Abramson believes such a miscalculation is possible. Likely even. Spikes in oil fearful market moves but they will fade quickly? "Given Iran is very ill poised to win its conflict especially if the U.S. intervenes again." says the so called wise man. So the cycle continues. Provocation retaliation escalation. Will these mortals ever learn?

I like his point of view. I'd take advice from Kratos any day.
