Another Day Another War
Hmph. These mortals squabble like pups over a bone. Word reaches my ears that the U.K. France and Germany are flapping their gums in Geneva trying to play peacemaker between Israel and Iran. It seems these two have been exchanging pleasantries – of the explosive kind – since that Hamas attack. Such... *delicacy*. They fight like Atreus when he first picked up the bow: all noise and little aim. And now the so called 'leader' of the United States Trump considers joining Israel. As if adding fuel to the fire will somehow extinguish it. *Fools*.
The 'Art' of Deals and Destruction
This Trump he speaks of negotiations a 'deal' to avoid conflict. Bah! Deals are for merchants not warriors. And certainly not for those who wield power. The Iranian Foreign Minister this Abbas Araghchi demands Israel cease aggression before talks. A waste of breath. They would be wise to remember that the only language these mortals understand is strength. Had I the strength to stop their bickering I would.
Trump's Nuclear Obsession: A Ghost of Rusted Metal
Trump's fixation on Iran's nuclear toys continues. He abandoned that Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action whatever fancy name they give it and tightened the screws with sanctions. A blundering approach Ghost of Sparta remembers his own mistakes and failures of his past! This 'peacemaker' seeks another deal. The definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.
Echoes of Past Follies
The French Foreign Minister this Jean Noël Barrot prattles on about learning from past mistakes in Libya Afghanistan and Iraq. Mortals and their endless cycles of repeating the same blunders. 'Boy,' I want to tell him 'you haven't learned a thing. The past is a ghost Barrot. You must learn to control it or be haunted forever.' They all are slaves to their ghosts.
Markets Tremble Politicians Quake
The markets are in a frenzy fearing this conflict will spread. Investors run to 'safe haven assets.' Safe haven? There is no such thing. Only different forms of danger. These humans make me laugh. But even Kratos can admit that this situation smells of a bigger storm. A storm that can swallow up this world.
Putin's Ominous Warning: World War Looms?
Even that weathered bear Putin expresses concern. He speaks of World War III without irony without jokes. 'It is disturbing,' he says. Distrubing for him indeed! The man has seen worse when the Ghost of Sparta was running amok! The potential for conflict is growing he claims. Indeed. I see it too. This world is a powder keg and these mortals are determined to light the fuse. They make the Gods seem sane!
