Another Day Another War?
Hmph. Mortals and their squabbles. Word reaches my ears of diplomats from the U.K. France and Germany scurrying like frightened rats in Geneva. They seek to parley with Iran. As if words can mend the wounds of war. Washington meanwhile flexes its muscles considering joining Israel's dance of death with Tehran. Fools. They play with fire and fire answers in kind. Remember boy 'The cycle ends here. We must be better than this.'
Trading Blows Like Children
Israel and Iran locked in a tiresome exchange of blows. A week they've been at it a mere blink in the eyes of a god. It all stems from that festering sore Hamas. Israel now wages war on multiple fronts against these…proxies. Hezbollah Houthis…puppets dancing to Tehran's tune. 'We will not stop until Iran's nuclear threat is dismantled,' barks Israel's ambassador. Empty threats. All bark no bite. I have seen gods fall; these mortals are but dust in the wind.
Trump's Two Weeks of Fury
The great orange haired warrior Trump speaks of intervention. Two weeks he gives himself to decide whether to unleash his fury upon Tehran. 'Based on the fact that there's a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the future I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks.' Such decisive action! He reminds me of a certain god of thunder…though less impressive and significantly less godly. But these negotiations will amount to nothing words are wind! War is the only way!
Talk is Cheap Blood is Expensive
Lammy Rubio Witkoff…more mortals more meetings. They 'discussed how a deal could avoid a deepening conflict.' A window of two weeks they say for diplomacy. 'There is no room for negotiations with the U.S. until Israeli aggression stops,' retorts Iran's Abbas Araghchi. Another stalemate then. More bloodshed to come. They squabble over land resources and power. The same song different verse.
Sanctions: A Slow Death
Trump's aversion to Iran's nuclear trinkets. He yanked the U.S. from the JCPOA squeezing Iran's coffers with sanctions. 'Peacemaker,' he calls himself. A second deal he seeks. These mortals crave titles even when their actions scream otherwise. 'Many political officials...convinced that we must not once more make the errors of the past. What we saw in Libya what we saw in Afghanistan what we saw in Iraq we do not want to see reproduced,' French Minister Barrot claims. They fear repeating history. They are doomed to repeat it anyway.
World War III? Bah!
Putin the bear of Russia expresses 'concern' about World War III. 'It is disturbing,' he whines. 'I am speaking without any irony without any jokes. Of course there is a lot of conflict potential it is growing and it is right under our noses and it affects us directly.' Let them fight. Let the world burn. What is it to me? I have seen worse. But still they must 'Close your heart to their suffering. You must close your heart to it all'. The cycle will never end and they will never learn their fate is sealed by themselves.
