Living Off The Land...Scape Of The Stock Market

They tell you to look at numbers like a deer in the crosshairs blind and waiting to die. But Dan Niles he's talking sense. Forget those fancy price to earnings ratios those are for desk jockeys. This market's running wild like a wounded animal and you gotta ride it 'til it bucks you off. Just like Colonel Trautman always said 'Living off the land son.' Only this land is paved with dollar bills.

No Rules Of Engagement

Niles says enjoy the ride 'til Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving? That's when the turkeys get slaughtered and the market's no different. I've seen enough ambushes to know when one's brewing. But he's right right now we're in the green zone. S&P 500 hitting records? That's like finding a field of poppies in 'Nam – beautiful but deadly. Those tariffs Trump slapped down? They stung but the market's a survivor. It adapts it overcomes just like I taught it.

The Fed: Friend Or Foe?

Now this Federal Reserve they’re supposed to cut interest rates. Niles doesn't think they should but expects them to anyway. It's like expecting a viper not to bite – foolish. But hey free money is free money. Even a jungle fighter knows a good deal when he sees one.

Cisco: My Kind Of Company

Cisco huh? Niles is betting on them. Says they're cheap and they're gonna ride the AI wave. I like a company that's got grit. They're building the networks the arteries of this digital jungle. And like a good radio man they're always broadcasting. I always say find the right tools you can survive anything.

Magnificent Seven: The New Squad

This 'Magnificent Seven'… Sounds like a posse I'd want on my side. Niles likes Nvidia and Microsoft. Nvidia coming off a rough patch? Good. Means they're hungry. Microsoft? Turning the corner with Azure? They’re adapting just like they should. These are the soldiers you want in the trenches the ones who've seen some action. They're the ones who know that 'to survive a war you gotta become war.'

Remember: Nothing Is Over!

So the market's up everyone's happy. But remember what I always say: 'Nothing is over!' This ain't a victory parade. It's just a lull in the storm. Enjoy the ride make some money but keep your knife sharp and your senses sharp. Because when that market turns it'll be a bloodbath. And you gotta be ready to fight your way out.
