Heard about this Cadillac buzz eh? Seems like these electric Cadillacs are doing what I do best: drawing in new blood especially from those fancy Tesla folks. Word on the street is nearly 80% of Cadillac EV buyers are rookies to the brand. Ten percent are jumpin' ship from Tesla. Ten percent! You push someone too hard show them only one thing and they are gonna find their way out. Just like in a war... or buying a new ride.

Lyriq's Lullaby: A Tesla Killer?

Cadillac's boastin' how almost 25% of Tesla defectors are trading in their rides for a Lyriq SUV this year. Up from 10% to 15% before. Brad Franz Cadillac's big shot even mentioned they're lookin' to poach even more Tesla customers. I've seen it myself you push a man you show him what he's gotta lose... and those Cadillac engineers are showin' folks what they're missin' out on.

Cross Shopping Carnage: Not Quite a Clean Sweep

Hold your horses. While Cadillac's snaggin' some Tesla folks the numbers ain't off the charts. Edmunds.com says Teslas ain't even in the top 10 of cross shopped vehicles for Cadillac EVs. Turns out most folks are just lookin' for a way out. As Joseph Yoon from Edmunds says they're makin' a "very deliberate choice to get out of that car."

Cadillac's aimin' to be the top dog in luxury EVs this year minus Tesla of course. But hey those Model S and X ain't exactly cheap. Franz declared 'Cadillac is leading the way with our EV lineup... We're going to become the No. 1 tier one EV luxury brand.' Seems like this fight ain't over but Cadillac's got the weapons. And I know a thing or two about winning battles whether they be on the battlefield or the showroom floor.
