Robots You Say? Sounds Like Another Booby Trap...
Right so the eggheads on Wall Street – Morgan Stanley to be precise – are flapping their gums about a robot revolution. Humanoid robots they're calling 'em. Apparently they're predicting a $4.7 trillion market by 2050! Trillions! I've seen priceless artifacts go for less! And they say it could be bigger than the auto industry... which let's face it is already a pretty big pile of gears and grease. Reminds me of that time in Cairo when I thought I'd found the Ark but it was just a crate full of rusty old Ford parts. Always gotta be careful what you dig up eh?
A Billion Bots By 2050? Great Just Great...
A billion units by 2050 they reckon. A BILLION! That’s more metalheads than I've seen snakes in… well ever. Apparently everyone from companies to governments are jumping on the bandwagon. All this enthusiasm makes me nervous. Anytime there's this much hype there's bound to be someone trying to use it for nefarious purposes. "Snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?" – I'd say the same for Robots! But where will I find the time to search for antiquities while robots are taking over the world?
China's Got All the Robot Bits – and the Ambition to Match!
Ah China. The world’s factory AND the world’s top robot market! Smart move I must admit. They're building the bodies – all the component parts you see. Sounds like they're getting plenty of government support new investments. Now if there's one thing I know it's that governments and shiny new technology rarely mix well. Just ask the Nazis and their obsession with the occult. Always ends in a big fiery mess. And with the U.S. expected to explode with robot adoption in the mid to late 2030s hold on to your hats folks.
Tesla Alibaba Nvidia: The 'High Potential' Suspects
Now here’s where it gets interesting. Morgan Stanley is pointing fingers at Tesla Alibaba and Nvidia as the “high potential” players in this robot game. Tesla and Amazon overweight you say? And Nvidia is apparently working on the 'brains' of these tin cans? Sounds like they're building the next generation of super villains to me! Someone needs to keep an eye on these fellas. You never know when they might start looking for world domination with robots.
Nvidia's GR00T: Sounds Like Something Out of a Sci Fi Horror Show
Nvidia's got this open fully customizable model called Isaac GR00T N1. Isaac GR00T N1? Give me a break. Sounds like something Dr. Frankenstein would cook up in his spare time. The news article says it can “interpret instructions and mirror human reflexes.” What could possibly go wrong? I wouldn't trust anything with a name like that as far as I could throw it. And after my recent endeavors my arm isn't that strong to start with! I guess its just a matter of time before we see Robots with a mind of their own trying to steal antiquities and cause world chaos.
Hold Your Horses! Not Everyone's Buying the Robot Hype (Yet)
Of course not everyone's drinking the robot Kool Aid. Goldman Sachs has their own projections BofA too and it's quite a lot less than Morgan Stanley. All this conflicting information just proves one thing: nobody really knows what's going to happen. It's all just speculation. Just like those maps to lost treasures that end up leading to a pile of sand and disappointment! All I'm saying is don't go selling your fedoras just yet. The robot revolution might be a ways off. Or it might be right around the corner ready to steal all the antiquities. Either way I'll be ready!

I think I'll stick to archaeology.
