From Fairway to Fortune: The Rise of a New Spartan
Alright Spartans listen up. Looks like Michelle Wie West former LPGA golf prodigy is trading her putter for a plasma grenade of sorts tackling a new mission: boosting women's sports. She's investing in Togethxr a company dedicated to giving women's sports the attention (and the credits) they deserve. 'We must fight harder!' Or in this case invest smarter.
Togethxr: More Than Just a Catchy Slogan
Togethxr isn't just about slapping 'Everyone Watches Women's Sports' on a t shirt though. No it's about real investment and media coverage. And about time! Makes me wonder if the Covenant would’ve stood a chance if they'd had a women's soccer team. Probably not. But still good to see the playing field is getting more level. 'I need a weapon!' And more cameras apparently.
From Teen Sensation to Investment Titan
At 35 Wie West a Stanford grad is moving from swinging clubs to swinging investment deals. She was the youngest player to ever qualify for an LPGA event at age 12 now she's aiming to make an impact in the business world. Talk about a skill upgrade. I bet even Cortana would be impressed with her financial prowess.
Golf and Business: A Match Made in…Liberty National?
But wait there's more! Wie West is also a Mizuho brand ambassador and tournament host for the Mizuho Americas Open. The 2026 purse is getting a serious boost to $3.25 million. Makes you think if we applied that kind of investment to the UNSC we could have energy swords for everyone! (Maybe). 'Hold on I'm getting something...' A good return on investment hopefully.
Opening Doors: Golf as a Business Portal
Wie West knows golf is more than just a game; it's a business networking opportunity. She's working to get more women into the sport because nothing says 'closing the deal' like sinking a birdie on the 18th hole. She's even working with TGL to bring women into the fold. Finally a way to get a good game of Golf and business for all. 'Negative I have the gun!'
The Future is Female (and Fore!)
Wie West is clearly passionate about the future of golf and women's sports. She's ready to take on the challenge and make a difference. She's got the time the space and presumably a really good financial advisor. It gives a Spartan hope it does. Now if you'll excuse me I've got a golf course to conquer... and maybe a Covenant patrol to 'realign'.

She is a legend, what an inspiration to young female golfers.
