Another Day Another Stock Surge
So Morgan Stanley thinks Alibaba's stock might jump because of this 'Artificial Intelligence' thing. Sounds like the Flood trying to infect the stock market. Analyst Gary Yu is pretty confident slapping a $180 price target on it. Says it could even hit $200. Meanwhile I'm still waiting for them to invent AI that can pilot a Warthog as well as I can. 'Wake me when you need me,' as they say. And by 'they,' I mean anyone who needs a real hero not just a stock tip.
Cloudy With a Chance of Profits
Apparently Alibaba is a 'major AI enabler.' Sounds like something the Covenant would cook up. Yu thinks Alibaba's cloud revenue could jump from 13% to 25% by fiscal 2026. All those numbers…makes my head spin. I prefer simple equations: One Spartan + One Needler = A Bad Day for the Covenant. But hey if more cloud revenue means better weapons I'm all in. Just keep the AI from going rampant alright?
DeepSeek's Moment: Not as Dramatic as Installation 04
This 'DeepSeek' thing apparently caused a surge in AI inference demand. Doesn't sound nearly as dramatic as when the Covenant found Installation 04. Apparently Tencent and Bytedance are hogging all the GPU capacity leaving AliCloud as the only game in town for external customers. It’s like the time I had to share a Pelican with Cortana and Johnson... cramped but we got the job done.
AI Driven Shopping: Is That Like a Smart Needler?
Yu reckons Alibaba is an 'early AI adopter' and that AI will boost their e commerce business. So does that mean we'll have AI that picks out the best energy shields for me? Or maybe an AI that can find a working bathroom on the Halo rings? Now that's progress I can get behind. 'I need a weapon,' and I also need a decent place to relieve myself after saving the galaxy.
Analysts Weigh In: Mostly Not Crazy
Most analysts on Wall Street are bullish on Alibaba. Good for them. I've faced worse odds with fewer allies. As long as they don't start worshipping the stock like the Covenant worshipped the Rings we're probably okay. Shares are up 1%. That's a start. But remember even a single Spartan can turn the tide. Or you know a good earnings report.
Engagement and Time Spent: Priorities People!
Apparently better AI means more user engagement and time spent shopping. Sounds like the kind of stuff civilians worry about. Me? I'm more concerned with engagement range on my Battle Rifle and time spent not getting blown up by plasma grenades. But hey if it keeps the economy humming who am I to complain? Just remember 'Halo' isn't just a game; it's a way of life. Now get back to work!
