Yabba Dabba Doo! Fred Flinstone here reporting live from Bedrock! And let me tell you folks there's some real hullabaloo goin' on over at Kohl's! Seems like their CEO fella named Ashley Buchanan got the ol' heave ho! Bam Bam! Right outta there!

A Conflict of Interest? What in Bedrock Is That?

Now the big wigs at Kohl's are sayin' this Buchanan fella got himself into a pickle with some 'vendor transactions' and 'undisclosed conflicts of interest.' Sounds like a lot of fancy talk to me! All I know is you gotta be on the up and up like when I'm bowling – even though I sometimes just sometimes use Dino as a bowling ball! Hehehe! But it's all in good fun!

Out With the Old In With the...Interim?

So out goes Buchanan and in comes some fella named Michael Bender as the interim CEO. That means he's just holdin' the fort like when Barney babysits Pebbles and Bamm Bamm...which usually ends with some kind of prehistoric disaster! Anyway they're lookin' for a permanent big cheese so if you know anyone who can run a store without gettin' into trouble send 'em Kohl's way!

Kohl's Has the First Quarter Yabba Dabba Blues!

Now here's the sad part. Kohl's ain't doin' so hot. Apparently not enough folks are buyin' their stuff. They say it's 'weak demand' and competition from those fancy e commerce gizmos and big box stores. Back in my day we traded clams and rocks! Simple! These days it is a lot harder to acquire clams and rocks!

Sales Slippin' Like Dino on an Icy Mammoth!

They're expectin' sales to be down but maybe not as bad as those fancy pants analysts thought. And they're losin' a bit of clams... I mean money per share but not as much as they feared. All I know is when Wilma and I lose clams it's usually 'cause of my gambling at the Water Buffalo Lodge!

So there you have it folks! A CEO gets the boot sales are down and Kohl's is lookin' for a new leader. Will they find someone who can turn things around? Will Wilma ever let me go bowling in peace?
