Great Gazoo's Guidance: Rich Gulf Guys Got it Good!

Yabba Dabba Doo! It's Fred Flinstone here reportin' live from Bedrock! I just heard from this little green fella Great Gazoo that them fancy pants Arab Gulf fellas are doin' alright even with ol' Trump's tariffs. They got more clams than Mr. Slate's got rocks! Apparently Saudi Arabia the United Arab Emirates Bahrain Kuwait Oman and Qatar – all them countries got a whole lotta dough. They call themselves the Gulf Cooperation Council or GCC. They’re sitting on more sovereign financial assets than you can shake a dino bone at! I'm talkin' trillions! Seems like they got enough rocks to handle a few bumps in the road.

Dino Sized Oil Reserves: A Blessing and a Curse!

Now here’s the kicker! These GCC guys got oil and I mean OIL! Like enough oil to keep my car runnin' for a million years! But here’s the rub: Trump wants them to pump more oil to bring down the prices. See if the price of oil goes down that means less money for them! And less money for them means they might have to cut back on their fancy projects. Vision 2030 what's that? Sounds like something Wilma would come up with. This is no laughing matter! I don’t want them cutting back on oil production what will that mean for my gas prices?

Rubbles with the Relations: Trump's a Pal But Oil's the Real Deal!

Apparently they get along swell with Trump which is good. One smart fella over there in Abu Dhabi said that those friendly relations would help them with tariff stuff! Who knows maybe they’ll invite Trump to Bedrock someday! But the truth of the matter is that the price of oil is more important than having good relations with President Rockhead. Those countries rely on oil money and if oil prices go down BAMM BAMM! Their budgets will be in trouble! It's like when I gamble all our money at the Water Buffalo Lodge – Wilma ain't happy!

Not a Major Export Market?!

Here's a thing U.S. is not a major export market to these countries meaning that Trump's tariffs will have little to no impact on the Gulf States. So they can continue with their day to day lives like everything is normal. It is very different than the time when my bowling ball would get stuck in the alley. "It's a living" right?

Spending like Gazoo: Cutting Back? Oh No!

The big brains are saying if oil prices stay low these countries might have to rethink their spending. Especially Saudi Arabia. They got these mega projects like Vision 2030! That's their plan to make money from other things besides oil. But guess what? They need oil money to make that happen! It’s a real catch 22 I tell ya. So if oil stays cheap they might have to tighten their belts like when I try to fit into my Water Buffalo Lodge outfit after too many brontosaurus burgers!

OPEC+ to the Rescue? Maybe Not!

These OPEC+ guys the ones who control how much oil gets pumped might have to stop pumping so much oil if the price keeps dropping. I don't know what that means for me and my gas prices but if it helps keep those Gulf fellas from going broke then maybe it’s a good thing. Wilma would probably tell me to be more considerate of others. But hey a guy's gotta have his gas right?
