Seems things are gettin' mighty rocky in the car biz and not in a good way like when I take the ol' footmobile out for a spin! I just heard from the grapevine (or should I say the dino vine?) that General Motors – you know those fancy pants car folks – are pullin' the plug on sendin' their horseless carriages over to China. China I tells ya! What's next they gonna stop sellin' bronto burgers there too?

Tariff Trouble in Town!

Apparently this whole shebang boils down to some serious hemming and hawing between the United States and China about get this *tariffs*! Sounds like some kinda prehistoric tax doesn't it? Like when Wilma makes me pay extra for a slab of ribs 'cause I ate all the gravel last week. These tariffs are makin' it too pricey to send those cars over kinda like tryin' to feed Dino a whole mountain of dog biscuits. Just ain't gonna work folks!

Durant Guild Gets Dusted!

Now GM had this fancy thing called the Durant Guild which was all about importin' these high falutin' cars from the US. But a GM big wig said it only accounted for a teensy weensy bit of what they sell in China – less than 0.1%! That's like sayin' my bowling score is only a small part of the problem when I lose to Barney! Sounds like they're reshuffling the deck over there or as I like to say they're 'restructurin' the slate!'

One Hundred Percent? Holy Bronto!

And get this these fancy cars from the USA were slapped with over 100% tariffs! You hear me? OVER ONE HUNDRED PERCENT! That's more than the number of times I've heard Wilma say 'Oh Fred!' Seems the two countries agreed to lower the tariffs for 90 days but I guess that wasn't enough yabba dabba doo!

Ford's Had Enough Too!

Well shut the gate Barney! Turns out GM ain't the only one packin' their bags. That other car company Ford already stopped sendin' their metal monsters to China back in April. Seems like everyone's gettin' the yabba dabba don't outta there!
