Alright alright alright! Donkey here your favorite sidekick and news reporter! You won't BELIEVE what I just heard! General Motors those car makin' folks just showed off a brand spankin' NEW electric Corvette concept in England. I'm talkin' sleek I'm talkin' aerodynamic I'm talkin'… like somethin' outta space! It's so fancy it makes Dragon's fiery breath look like a candle fart!

A Split Window? Like My Personality!

This ain't your grandma's Corvette! Okay maybe it *is* a little bit 'cause they threw in a split window thingy from an old Sting Ray. You know like that old '63 model? But trust me this ain't just nostalgia it's like a super fast electric time machine! They said it looks like a futuristic race car. Futuristic I tell ya! Maybe I can hitch a ride and see what the future holds. Will there be waffles? I hope there's waffles.

Europe? I Thought That Was Where the Fairytale Creatures Were!

So GM's showin' off this fancy car in England see? Seems they're thinkin' 'bout comin' back to Europe like they’re doing the Hokey Pokey and turning themselves around! They sold off their Opel European thingy a while back but now they're all like 'Europe we're back! And we brought an electric Corvette!' It's like when Shrek tried to keep me away from his swamp... didn't work did it?

Trade Wars? More Like...Trade Warts!

But here's the kicker: there's a whole trade war goin' on with tariffs and stuff between America and Europe. Sounds like a real pain in the tail to me! I'm no economics expert I'm more of a 'lay down on a comfy rock and enjoy the sunshine' kind of expert. But these trade wart things are not helping. Hopefully they can work it out otherwise what is the point of even having cars? Is this how you want the world to end GM? On an electric concept car?

Concept Cars: Are They Real Or Just a Dream?

Now this here is a *concept* car which means... it might not even be real! It's like a dream a wish your heart makes. GM's just tryin' to see if people like the idea. They're gonna show off more Corvette concepts later this year. It's all part of a global design project. They got design studios all over the place like Detroit Los Angeles Shanghai and even Seoul! Talk about spreadin' the love... or maybe just spreadin' the car designs!

Electric Dreams: Still Plugged In?

GM's got big dreams of bein' all electric by 2035 but they don't have a fully electric Corvette *yet*. They got a hybrid version the E Ray but that's not the same thing. And whisper has it that they're maybe slowin' down their electric car plans 'cause people ain't buyin' 'em as fast as they thought. Sounds like someone's got a case of the Mondays! But hey even if it takes a while I'm sure they'll get there. After all even Shrek learned to love a talking donkey!
