My Prerogative: Card Chaos and Pokémon Vibes

Okay so I was reading this article about this totally rad dude David Do who's like a credit card ninja. He's got like 30 cards! Thirty! I can barely keep track of my hair extensions let alone that many pieces of plastic. He keeps them in a binder like Pokémon cards... which honestly is kind of iconic. He says he doesn't use Excel sheets which is totally me. Spreadsheets? Gimme a break! I go by memory too but usually it's just remembering my next dance move or the last time I had a Frappuccino. It’s Britney after all! But seriously this guy’s a travel hacking pro. 'Gimme More' travel points please!

Stronger Than Yesterday: Turning Points into Plane Tickets

David's all about travel hacking which is like using credit card rewards to get free flights and hotels. Sounds amazing right? It's a bit like turning lemons into lemonade or in my case turning my Oops! moments into chart topping hits! But he’s serious about vigilance with his cards so he doesn't rack up debt unlike some people I know wink wink! He's been to 33 countries which is way more than I’ve been to… this year. Living my best life honey!

Lucky: Living Below Your Means

He gives credit to his parents who were frugal and taught him the value of a dollar. They always lived below their means which is like the opposite of what everyone thinks celebrities do! Maybe I should take notes. Seriously though it's inspiring. He also graduated with minimal debt because of scholarships and grants. Smart cookie! 'You wanna? Hot body? You better work b*tch!'

Not a Girl Not Yet a Woman But Definitely Debt Free

After graduation he moved back home (relatable!) and got serious about his finances. He paid off his student loans super fast and bought a townhouse. He spends wisely using different credit cards for different perks like 5% cash back at restaurants. He's basically playing the system and I'm here for it! I love a good discount! It's like when I find a pair of sparkly heels on sale. Pure bliss!

Work B*tch: Balancing Budgets and Bling

He's got his priorities straight: housing food savings and a little bit of entertainment. Even his travel is budgeted! Can you believe it? I mean I love a good private jet but maybe I could learn a thing or two from David about 'budget traveling.' I think I need to download this Excel sheet thing that he doesn’t use. He maximizes points by transferring them between loyalty partners which is like finding the perfect remix of your favorite song. He's aiming for financial independence and wants to live a fulfilling life. I feel you David! I feel you!

Oops!... I'm Coasting: Planning for the Future (and Uzbekistan?)

He's planning a trip to Uzbekistan Azerbaijan and Georgia. Okay that's a little more exotic than my usual trips to like Starbucks and Target. But hey adventure is adventure right? He's also saving a ton of money and wants to reach Coast FIRE which sounds like some kind of beachside rave but is actually about saving enough to chill later in life. Maybe I’ll join him in Uzbekistan… after I find out where it is. This sounds amazing! Maybe I should try it instead of wearing a yellow python in my next performance. It is time for reinvention after all! Who’s with me? Let's get this money honey!
