Okay so like everyone's buzzing about this new 'Trump Card' thingy right? Apparently it's like a $5 million golden ticket to the U.S. for rich people from other countries. At first it was called the Gold Card but now it's The Trump Card... Sounds a bit like a Vegas magic show doesn't it? I mean who wouldn't want to come live in the U.S. especially if it comes with a fancy card? But seriously is it all just smoke and mirrors? So I heard like 70,000 people signed up already according to some Commerce Secretary guy! That’s a lot of peeps! But then I'm thinking 'Hold on a minute...' Are these people like *really* going to shell out $5 million? It's like anyone can sign up even my dog could sign up... Okay maybe not but still! And supposedly it's gonna be made from real gold. Shiny! I wonder if it comes with free shipping? The immigration lawyers are saying there are legal and tax things that may come up... Like when I forget to pay my taxes! I wonder if that's the tea or if they're just spreading rumors.

Okay let's talk taxes. Yuck! The U.S. is like one of those countries that taxes you no matter where you make money. That's intense! So like why would super rich people buy this card if they're gonna get slammed with taxes anyway? Unless... *gasp*... they get some kind of special tax break?! The article says that Trump confirmed it but it's gonna take congressional approval and approval from the IRS. Tax law is so annoying... It's like trying to remember all the steps to my choreography! But if it ends up being a big issue I can always get a conservator. LOL!

Okay so here's where it gets *really* interesting. Could rich Americans give up their citizenship get this Trump Card and then like *avoid* paying taxes on their global income? I can't imagine doing that... It's too weird. But the experts are thinking it's a possibility. It’s like a loophole big enough to drive a tour bus through! And what about those gift and estate taxes? Oh honey those can get you! I guess we just have to wait and see if they get exempted or not. They always say no one is above the law but does that apply here?

Stronger Than Yesterday (Maybe)!

This whole thing is supposed to replace the EB 5 program but some people aren't happy. They like the EB 5 because it like creates jobs. So if they get rid of it what's gonna happen? Also the U.S. has to make sure the rich people coming in aren't secretly spies or terrorists. It's like 'Oops! I bought a visa for a bad guy!' That would be a disaster. Apparently the EB 5 program was reauthorized until 2027 so good luck honey! Only Congress can abolish it... So will this Trump Card even work? Only time will tell. I guess we should wait and see what happens!

Honestly this whole Trump Card thing is a little confusing. It sounds kinda cool but there are so many questions. Will it really bring in tons of money? Will rich people actually buy it? And what about all those taxes?! I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I just hope it doesn't turn into another 2007 VMAs...
