Gotham's... I Mean Wall Street's Woes

Tesla's stock is taking a nosedive faster than I can drop from a gargoyle. Down 7%? That's enough to make even Alfred raise an eyebrow. Seems the market's about as predictable as the Joker's next scheme. Analysts are expecting delivery numbers to be down – a 13% drop. Looks like someone's been playing a little too much catch up. Remember it's not who you are underneath but what you do that defines you. Or in this case how many cars you deliver.

Robotaxis and Reality Checks

A robotaxi service in Austin huh? Sounds like something Lucius Fox would cook up. And first 'driverless delivery'? Impressive. But even the best tech can't outrun bad press. The stock was soaring higher than the Bat Signal but then the feud with Trump ignited. It's like watching Two Face flip a coin – you never know which way it's gonna land. Sometimes the truth isn't good enough sometimes people deserve more. They deserve to have their faith rewarded.

The Bill of No Returns

Musk's got his cape in a twist over this 'One Big Beautiful Bill.' Apparently it benefits the rich while gutting Medicaid and food assistance. And he thinks it will worsen the deficit. He's right that tax cuts will add to the debt. It is funny how some folks think cutting public services for the poor to pay for tax cuts to the rich is a good idea. Theatricality and deception powerful agents to the uninitiated. But not to me.

Renewable Resentment

The bill's also set to slash support for renewable energy and ditch EV tax credits. That could sting Tesla like a Batarang to the face. They’re expecting EV sales to drop by 100,000 a year! It looks like they are also projected to slow renewable energy development by more than 350 cumulative gigawatts by 2035. Looks like someone is feeling the pain like they have fallen into a pit of venom. These renewable projects are supposed to save the earth. You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

Trump's Taunts and Tesla's Troubles

Trump's claiming Musk is just miffed about 'losing his EV mandate.' And threatens he could lose even more. Ah the sweet taste of political posturing. Trump mentions how Musk's companies have been profiting from government subsidies and contracts citing SpaceX receiving over $22 billion since 2008. That my friends is a lot of Batmobiles. It's not about deserve it's about what you believe. And I believe in Tesla and I believe in Elon.

Credits and Consequences

Tesla's raking in billions from environmental credits. Around 60% of their net income last quarter. Turns out being green pays... until the rules change. This could turn out to be a trap. Maybe they will let me know when I'm supposed to drive off the cliff. Fine I'll take point. At least I will know what is going on. But for the meantime this looks bad for Tesla.
