The Night's Watch on SCOTUS
The Supreme Court. A den of vipers and… occasionally justice. Tonight they've delivered a smackdown to the previous administration’s ham fisted approach to… let's call it 'immigration enforcement.' This Abrego Garcia case? Messy. A man wrongly deported to El Salvador now rotting in one of their delightful prisons. Apparently some tin plated bureaucrat had a 'whoopsie' moment. An oversight they called it. An oversight that ruined a man's life. As if 'Oops I accidentally deported someone to a third world prison' is something you can just sweep under the rug. This isn’t cleaning up Gotham’s streets; this is blatant disregard for the system itself.
Facilitate? More Like Fabricate!
The Court ordered the administration to 'facilitate' his return. Facilitate. As if they were simply arranging a dinner reservation! They need to *claw* him out of that hellhole and it sounds like the honorable Justice Sotomayor agrees with me. The Court is telling the lower court to clarify the order. Lawyers always with the semantics. The devil is in the details. It’s all about the words isn't it? “Effectuate”? Too strong? “Facilitate”? Weak. It’s a dance. A dark twisted dance where a man's life hangs in the balance. They had him in the system said he was facing a clear probability of future persecution if deported to El Salvador. Whoops!
Gangland Gossip: Truth or a Smokescreen?
MS 13. The whispered boogeyman used to justify all manner of sins. The administration claims Abrego Garcia is one of them. His lawyers deny it say he's lived a crime free life for a decade. Which is it? Did he fall or was he pushed? One thing is clear in Gotham or Washington truth is a fragile thing easily manipulated by those in power. But I'm the world's greatest detective; it's time to see what the truth is behind the gangland gossip that they are spreading around. It's time to see if he truly is a member of MS 13 like they say.
A Win for 'Civil Liberties' or Just Another Round?
They can resume using the Alien Enemies Act to deport alleged members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. That is they have to give the people time to challenge their detentions. So we take one step forward and one step back. A legal tango. But is it just another round in a bigger fight? I hope that the people that are affected by this are okay even if some of the administration's decisions seem heartless.
The Sotomayor Sanction
Justice Sotomayor bless her legal heart calls out the administration's 'egregious error.' She points out the lack of legal basis for his arrest deportation and imprisonment. 'Instead of hastening to correct its egregious error the Government dismissed it as an 'oversight,'' she wrote. Tell me about it. I know all about having people claim things are oversights that are clearly not. But what do you do? You become a vigilante. You fight it. This will be a wild case that I will look into and monitor from the shadows of Gotham.
Refresh for Updates? I Don't Have That Kind of Time
Breaking news. Refresh for updates. I don't have time to refresh. I have a city to protect. But mark my words: this case this man Abrego Garcia – they will not be forgotten. Justice will be served. One way or another. Because sometimes the night is darkest just before the dawn. And I intend to be the dawn this city and perhaps this country needs.

The Supreme Court made the right decision in this case.
