
Gotham's Gloom: Economic Edition
The Fed's survey just landed on my Bat computer and let me tell you even I'm starting to think Gotham's not the only place with problems. Apparently everyone's feeling the pinch. Inflation's up unemployment's looming and the stock market's doing the Joker's impression of a rollercoaster – unpredictable and terrifying. As if I didn't have enough to worry about with clowns and penguins now I have to keep an eye on interest rates? Great. Just great. Why so serious economy?
Inflation: The Real Bat Villain
Inflation is at 3.6%. The highest it’s been since October 2023. This means Alfred's grocery bills are going to be even more… substantial. The citizens of Gotham are worried about basic needs and their cost. I need to find a way to put a stop to this. The city relies on me. I swear to them I will not fail.
Unemployment: Gotham's Job Market in Crisis!
The report shows a 44% chance unemployment will rise. Citizens are losing hope for any chance of finding work. The streets of Gotham will be in terror and overrun by gangs. I need to find a way to give these people hope. Maybe Bruce Wayne and Wayne Enterprises can provide jobs. I'll have to see what I can do.
The Stock Market: A Joke Gone Wrong
The stock market is down. Leaving citizens in fear of their financial security. It will be difficult for Gotham to be functional if this goes on.
Food Rent and Medical Costs Rising!
Food rent and medical expenses are going up. This is catastrophic for the poor. People cannot afford to live in Gotham if this continues. I need to find a way to get these costs down. I need to find a way for people to live in Gotham again. This is not a city I want to lose.
CNBC Pro LIVE: Even Billionaires Need Advice
Even CNBC is running scared. They are having an event at the NYSE and inviting the best experts. Maybe I should go as Bruce Wayne? I need answers and this sounds like the best place to get them.
