Gotham's Economy? Child's Play.
Cramer's talking about tariffs. Tariffs! In Gotham we deal with supervillains and plummeting skyscrapers. Trade wars are for amateurs. But fine I'll humor him. Apparently President Trump's been playing economic hardball and the global markets are taking a beating. Sounds like someone needs a visit from the Bat... a Bat Economic Consultant that is. Alfred fetch me my economics textbook and the Batarang. We have a situation.
Earnings Season: The Joker's Wildcard
Next week's earnings reports are the 'first look' at the damage. Big banks are up first like lambs to the slaughter. Cramer seems optimistic but optimism is a disease in Gotham. It breeds complacency. He says the market's fate is tied to Trump's next move. Sounds like a hostage situation. I prefer dealing with villains who wear makeup. At least they're predictable.
Levi's Blues: More Than Just Denim
Levi Strauss is feeling the tariff pinch apparently. Who knew jeans could be so politically charged? Cramer thinks they're vulnerable. Personally I prefer my suits tailored. But I digress. If Levi's stock plummets will Gotham's hipsters riot? Probably not. But I'll add it to the list of potential threats. After Killer Croc and Poison Ivy a jean related crisis seems almost quaint.
Walgreens Goes Private: A Secret Formula?
Walgreens is going private in a $10 billion deal. Must be some serious Bat gadgets in those stores. Or maybe they just know how to handle the Joker's... *unique* shopping list. Meanwhile egg prices are up. Is this the Penguin's doing? He always had a thing for birds. Time to investigate. Alfred prepare the Bat Omelet. It's going to be a long night.
Delta's Turbulence: Travel Troubles Ahead?
Delta Air Lines cut its outlook. Could be bad news for the travel industry. Does this mean fewer vacations for Bruce Wayne? Unacceptable! Especially after having to deal with the trauma of being Batman Bruce Wayne needs a vacation and tariffs are not going to ruin that. Time to get involved. Perhaps a strategic investment in a private jet is in order. Alfred do some research.
BlackRock and Big Banks: The Final Showdown?
The big banks are reporting their earnings. Cramer fears the worst. Even if they beat expectations the market might still tank because of... wait for it... *tariffs*. Someone needs to tell Cramer “It’s not who I am underneath but what I *do* that defines me.” Maybe some good leadership is all these banks need to become the heroes that Gotham... and the world... needs.

Maybe Batman can fix this mess.
