It's like when Ken tries to coordinate his golf outfit with mine – unexpected but potentially fabulous! So Jay Monahan the current commissioner is passing the golf club to Brian Rolapp a big shot from the NFL. Can you believe it? From touchdowns to tee times! Monahan will begin handing over day to day duties to Rolapp and will officially step down at the end of 2026. As I always say "Life in plastic it's fantastic!" But life on the green? Let's see!

Monahan bless his heart said he told the board last year he'd be stepping down after a decade. That's longer than I've been a mermaid a doctor and a rockstar combined! He secured $1.5 billion in investments and tried to make things fairer for the players. But and this is a big but his tenure was kinda overshadowed by the whole potential merger with LIV Golf that Saudi backed league. They announced their intention to merge like me and Ken always planning our next adventure but they haven't quite sealed the deal. Talk about a cliffhanger!

Enter Brian Rolapp the man of the hour! He wrote an open letter talking about his respect for golf's history. How very 'vintage Barbie'! But he also said there's work to do and opportunities to grab which sounds like my kind of thinking! He's been chatting with players board members and fans and he's planning to strengthen the Tour's commercial partnerships. Basically he wants to make golf even more fabulous! Remember when you're Barbie everything is possible!

Rolapp's got a vision darlings! "Professional golf is evolving as are the ways fans consume sports. My goal as CEO is to honor golf's traditions but not be overly bound by them," he said. Rolapp was a big deal at the NFL overseeing their commercial broadcast and digital rights. In other words he's a media maestro! The PGA Tour is renewing its media rights agreements soon so having him on board is like having a personal stylist for your golf game. He's considered as a top successor candidate for NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. It's a good thing he chose golf it will be a different kind of fun!
