Oi everyone! Luffy here reporting live from... well not the sunny beaches of the Mediterranean! Turns out even I the future King of the Pirates can't handle EVERYTHING! Seems like these days going to places like Italy Greece and Spain in the middle of summer is like stepping into a giant barbecue! It's getting HOTTER than Sanji's cooking when he's trying to impress Nami and Robin! People are saying that these southern European places were super popular after the pandemic but now they're just crowded and expensive and the weather is a disaster! Even I'd rather save my energy for finding the One Piece than sweating it out in a tourist trap! Looks like people are going elsewhere!

Northward Bound! Time to Bundle Up!

So where are all the fun loving adventurers going instead? Drumroll please! The NORTH! Places like Iceland Estonia and Scandinavia! Apparently these 'coolcations' are all the rage! One guy James Thornton from Intrepid Travel told some news people that bookings to these places have gone up a TON! 50% for their British customers in July and August! That's like finding a whole barrel of meat on a deserted island! They're saying the demand for northern Europe in the summer is booming! Sounds like a chilly adventure to me! Maybe I should pack a coat…nah too much trouble.

Boomers and Rookies? What a Weird Crew!

Get this! The people leading this 'coolcation' charge are baby boomers (those old timers born a long time ago) and first time travelers! Boomers are finally free and have money to spend and the young ones have their eyes on experiences and not possessions... What a weird crew! I'm used to pirates and talking reindeer but this is something else! Reminds me of that time I teamed up with Law and Kid! Talk about a chaotic alliance!

Mediterranean Meltdown! It's Not Just the Ice Cream!

It seems like the Mediterranean is losing its shine because of the crazy heat. Last year was the hottest summer ever! People are worried about heatwaves and wildfires! Even I with my rubber powers wouldn't want to get caught in one of those! Jenny Southan the CEO of Globetrender says this 'coolcation' thing is gonna get even bigger because climate change is making things more unpredictable. It's like having Kaido's drunken rampages but with the whole planet! Shishishi!

Winners and Losers! Time to Party (or Not)!

So who's winning and losing in all this? Northern European countries like Sweden and Estonia are probably doing a little dance right now! More tourists mean more food…I mean more money! But southern Europe might need to rethink things. Maybe they can attract people in the spring and autumn when it's not so crazy hot. It's like how we have to change our plans when the weather gets rough on the Grand Line! Adapt or be left behind!

Jenny Southan said something about how 'the sun is no longer a thing to worship.' What?! That's crazy talk! I love the sun! It's perfect for drying meat!
