BOY! The Black Gold Flows!

Hmph. I hear whispers of oil a substance as volatile as the gods themselves. These OPEC+ mortals led by the likes of Saudi Arabia and Russia dare to tamper with the earth's bounty. They have decided to unleash 411,000 more barrels per day upon the world. A foolish endeavor! But what else can one expect from mortals? They squabble over resources as children fight over toys.

The Price of Pride (and Oil)

The price as they say is falling. The Ice Brent whatever frosty concoction that may be plummets like Icarus from the sky. Down 5.94% they cry! The May Nymex WTI suffers a similar fate a 6.41% drop. These are the wages of ambition the consequence of greed. They seek to flood the market these oil barons and drown their competitors. But remember boy 'Do not mistake ambition for accomplishment'. And what is more important 'We must be better than this'.

A Gathering of Vultures (or Producers)

Saudi Arabia Russia Iraq UAE Kuwait Kazakhstan Algeria and Oman. These names echo with the stench of politics and deceit. They meet in their virtual realms plotting and scheming as if they were gods themselves. They speak of 'global market conditions,' a term as hollow as the skulls of those who utter it. The previous increase was expected to be lower than the agreed one about 140,000 barrels but now the increase has tripled. They are like Draugrs trying to steal the production from others to earn more money.

Pauses and Reversals: The Games Mortals Play

They speak of pausing of reversing of 'evolving market conditions.' Bah! They are like puppets dancing to the tune of supply and demand. They can pause or reverse the increments as if they have the power to pause time itself. What fools! As they said 'Close your heart to their suffering. Do not allow yourself to feel for them. They will die'. What a pity.

Kazakhstan's Shame

Ah Kazakhstan! A land apparently struggling to meet its quota whatever that means. Their new energy minister Erlan Akkenzhenov now walks into the middle of this chaos. He will learn soon that power is a fickle mistress and the gods of oil are far more capricious than Zeus. And OPEC are there to force Kazakhstan to decrease the overproduction by cutting more oil they will learn that revenge is never a straight line boy.

The Shadow of the Orange One

Donald Trump they call him. He casts a long shadow over this crude oil market. He champions higher U.S. output while simultaneously unleashing tariffs as if trying to incite chaos. A fitting role for a man who seems to thrive on it. 'When the cycle ends we all die' he must be thinking by making this move. It is time to prepare the Leviathan axe there is a lot to come.
