A Tweet A Disturbance and Falling Prices

Hmm a great disturbance in the Force I sense. Oil prices falling they are. Like flies before a Wampa down they go! Trump President he is speaketh and the market trembles. China he says can buy oil from Iran. A surprise this is. "Do. Or do not. There is no try," said I once. But try Trump does even if the outcome unpredictable it is. Sanctions he loosens after a ceasefire with Israel. A path to peace or a Sith trap this could be. May the Force be with us either way. Hmmm.

The Empire Strikes Back (at Oil Prices)

Brent crude down it goes! $4.06 or 5.68% the fall is. US crude not far behind. "Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering," and suffering oil markets feel perhaps. From levels before the bombing on June 13 they tumble. Investors they believe the risk is low. Low the risk is? Arrogance can cloud judgment it does. The Force strong it is but markets stronger they can be when moved by fear or greed.

China's Choice: Oil from Iran or USA?

"China can now continue to purchase Oil from Iran," he proclaimed on Truth Social. A strange place that platform is. "Hopefully they will be purchasing plenty from the U.S. also." A great honor he says it was to make this happen. A mystery his motivations are. Does he seek lower prices or a grand bargain? Difficult to see always in motion is the future. Patience we must have. "Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size do you?" Equally so the source matters not to those needing oil. Only availability and price matter!

No Beef with Iran He Says?

No beef with Iran he says? Diminished nuclear capabilities he claims. A convenient excuse this is. "Fear is the path to the dark side." Is Trump afraid of rising oil prices more than a nuclear Iran? A question worth pondering it is. Matt Smith lead oil analyst at Kpler wisely observes that Trump seems loath to remove Iranian supply from the market for fear of prices rising. The Force is strong with this one.

Qatar Airbase Attack: A Wasted Shot

The attack on the U.S. airbase in Qatar a miscalculation it was. No casualties it caused. "Always two there are no more no less. A master and an apprentice." Iran and Israel trading blows but no true damage inflicted. A dance it is choreographed by fear and politics. Trump he announced a ceasefire. Fragile it is. Accusations fly like laser blasts from both sides. "I'm not happy with Israel," he says. Nor Iran. A diplomatic tightrope he walks. Careful he must be.

Strait of Hormuz: A Choke Point or an Opportunity?

The Strait of Hormuz a vital artery it is. Twenty percent of the world's crude through it flows. "Luminous beings are we not this crude matter!" But crude matter the world needs. If Iran closes the strait chaos it will cause. Investors they watch closely. Will Iran lash out? Or will cooler heads prevail? The Force we must trust but also prepare for the worst. Ready we must be.
