Great Googly Moogly! Best Buy's Numbers Are Down!

Yabba Dabba Doo! Fred Flinstone here reporting live from my rock solid computer! I just heard some news that's got me saying 'What in Bedrock is going on?!' Seems like Best Buy that fancy cave where Wilma likes to buy her gizmos isn't doing so hot. They thought they'd rake in more clams but those pesky tariffs are turning their Stone Age profits into pebbles!

Tariffs? Sounds Like Trouble with a Capital 'T'!

This 'tariff' business sounds like a Barney Rubble kind of scheme! Apparently these tariffs are making all sorts of gadgets more expensive. And get this Best Buy's CEO this Corie Barry gal says raising prices is the *very last resort*! Well tell that to Wilma when she wants a newfangled dish washing machine! 'It's a living!' I always say but now even livings are getting pricier!

Blame it on the Big Guy!

Now I ain't one to point fingers but this President Donald Trump guy seems to be stirrin' up a whole lotta dust with his trade policies. Seems like Best Buy ain't the only one singin' the blues. Other outfits like Abercrombie & Fitch and Macy's are also feelin' the pinch. It's enough to make a caveman wanna smash his club against the wall!

Nimble Like a Dino? Best Buy's Gotta Move Fast!

This Corie Barry lady says they gotta stay 'nimble.' Nimble! Sounds like she's been takin' lessons from Dino! She mentioned some federal trade court strikin' down some of Trump's tariffs. So maybe there's hope? But she also said things are changing faster than Dino can gobble up a Bronto Burger! Gotta stay focused she says. Easy for her to say she ain't gotta deal with Wilma nagging me about the latest rock polishing contraption!

Rock Bottom Prices? Not So Fast!

So how's Best Buy doin'? Well their earnings are down like Barney after a bowling ball incident. They were expecting more clams but they came up short. Seems like folks ain't buyin' as many home theaters whatevers those are? Wilma says they're for watchin' those picture box shows I tell you what. But smartphones are doin' pretty good! Maybe everyone's too busy yakking on those things to watch the picture box shows!

This whole thing is makin' my head spin like a record player. But Best Buy's tryin' to adjust they say. They're gettin' their suppliers to make stuff in different countries and negotiatin' lower prices. Maybe they'll pull through maybe not. All I know is I gotta go home and tell Wilma we might have to hold off on that new dinosaur powered vacuum cleaner. Yabba Dabba Doo... or maybe Yabba Dabba Don't!
