Okay so like I was scrolling through my Insta – because duh what else is a pop princess to do? – and I saw this article about AeroVironment. Apparently they totally crushed it this quarter! Like they earned $1.61 per share when everyone thought they’d only get $1.39. It’s like when I surprise everyone with a new album…except instead of bops it’s… drones? Werk.

Gimme More... Revenue That Is!

And the revenue? $275 million! I mean that’s like more than my entire 'Piece of Me' residency… okay maybe not but still! It's a lot of zeros y'all. They were expecting $242 million so they basically said 'Oops!... We did it again!' to those expectations! *hair flip*

Cramer's Calling: 'The Palantir of Hardware'!

So this Jim Cramer guy who I’m guessing isn’t related to Kramer from 'Seinfeld' (though that would be hilarious) called AeroVironment the 'Palantir of hardware.' Now I don't know *exactly* what that means but it sounds fancy and important like my diamonds. Clearly they’re doing something right if they’re getting shout outs on CNBC. Maybe I should invest… or at least get a free drone. It would be a cool accessory!

Record Breakers: Making History!

They also made a record $820.6 million for the whole year! That's up 14% from last year! I remember when my albums used to go platinum in a week… ah the good old days. But seriously congrats to them for slaying the game. It's important to remember that "Every day is a new day and it's important how you approach it."

BlueHalo Hello! Big Buys and Laser Weapons!

And get this: they bought a defense tech company called BlueHalo for $4.1 billion! Billion! With a 'B'! These guys are serious. BlueHalo makes drone and defense stuff including laser weapon systems. Laser weapons? Okay that’s way cooler than any stage prop I've ever used. Though my snake was pretty iconic! They said it "further advances their leadership position". I wonder if they need a pop star to launch their next drone?

Future's So Bright They Gotta Wear Shades (and Fly Drones)!

Looking ahead AeroVironment expects to make between $1.9 billion and $2 billion next year! And earnings between $2.80 and $3.00 per share. They're basically saying "You want a piece of me?" to the stock market. Well good for them! I love seeing people succeed. Maybe I should ask them for some tips. After all "If you wanna be cool you gotta have that S.T.Y.L.E." and these guys seem to have it!
