Hey it's Rocky here. See I been hearin' whispers rumble in the jungle 'bout Disney. Not Mickey Mouse Club whispers but big money whispers. Turns out them Disney parks ain't just for Mickey and Minnie no more. They droppin' a $67 billion haymaker on the U.S. economy every year! That's more than I ever made in the ring even with Apollo Creed's rematch purse. Josh D'Amaro big cheese over at Disney Experiences says they're felt across the country. I'm tellin' ya even I felt that one and I been punched by the best!

Round 1: California Dreamin' and Florida Feelin' Good

These economists see they ain't just countin' how many churros you buy. They countin' everything! The hotels the pizza you scarfed down after Space Mountain even the gas money gettin' there! They call it 'direct impact,' 'indirect impact,' and even 'induced impact' which sounds like somethin' Drago gave me in Russia. Walt Disney World down in Florida clocked in at $40 billion in '22 Disneyland in California hit $16 billion in '23. But that's not all. Together these parks are causin' a $10 billion annual economic impact across the rest of the country. It's like they got a secret sauce. "It ain't about how hard you can hit but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward." and Disney is keeping the economy moving forward

Eye of the Tiger: Jobs Jobs Jobs!

And get this folks Disney's not just stackin' cash they're makin' jobs! Over 400,000 of 'em! That's more folks than in my whole neighborhood back in Philly. Turns out every 20 jobs in Orange County California and every 8 jobs in Central Florida are thanks to the Mouse. So next time you see Mickey thank him for puttin' food on the table. Gonna Fly Now Part 2: Expansion Extravaganza

But wait there's more! Disney's not stoppin' there. They're plannin' to spend $30 billion on new stuff by 2033! New lands new rides the whole shebang! Magic Kingdom's gettin' bigger with a Villain land (that's what I need some Drago to punch). Animal Kingdom's gettin' a tropical makeover and Hollywood Studios is gettin' a Monsters Inc. land. Over in California Avengers Campus is gettin' bigger. Coco Avatar and Disneyland. It's like they're tryin' to make every movie into a real life playground. "Every champion was once a contender who refused to give up." Disney is not giving up!

Ain't All Sunshine and Rainbows: Ticket Trouble

Now hold on a second. Before you start packin' your bags for Disney some folks are sayin' the tickets are gettin' too pricey. Like tryin' to buy a steak for a penny. They sayin' regular folks are gettin' priced out. It's a valid point see? Gotta make sure everyone gets a shot not just the fancy folks.
