Meat Meat and…Khakis?

Oi everyone! Luffy here reporting live from… well wherever there's food! I just heard the craziest thing! Levi's you know the guys who make those tough pants Zoro loves to wear when he's not lost are selling Dockers! Dockers! Those…khaki things! Shishishi! They say it's for $311 million to some Authentic Brands Group. Sounds like a treasure haul to me! But seriously who needs khakis when you can have ADVENTURE and MEAT?!

Authentic? Sounds Like a Strong Nakama!

So this Authentic crew is gonna be the new captain of the Dockers ship. They're gonna be handling the…*ugh*…making and selling of these khaki things. Sounds like hard work! But Levi's is hoping they can rake in even more treasure like up to $391 million! That’s enough for a HUGE feast for my whole crew! They also own Forever 21's intellectual property and brands like Reebok and Nautica. Good luck to them I hope they can find the One Piece!

Levi's New Course! More Denim Less Khaki!

Apparently Levi's wants to focus on their own brand and some other stuff called 'athleisure.' Ath leisure? Sounds like something Chopper would wear while doing…doctor stuff! Anyway their CEO Michelle Gass said this helps them focus on selling directly to us and growing overseas. I guess they think khakis are slowing them down. Maybe Nami can tell them where to find the best denim treasure!

Khakis: The Forgotten Island?

Levi's started Dockers way back when in 1986 as a backup plan. Like when Sanji runs out of meat and has to cook vegetables! But these khaki things aren't as popular as they used to be. Denim is making a comeback! Maybe it's because it's tougher for fighting bad guys! They say Dockers was kinda dragging Levi's down. Sounds like they needed to drop some dead weight like that time Usopp tried to carry a mountain of watermelons!

Dockers Go International! Grand Line Here We Come!

The good news is Dockers are still popular in other countries! Like the Grand Line full of unexpected treasures and dangers! That's why this Authentic group is a good fit. They're good at selling stuff all over the world. They're talking about Latin America Europe Asia… everywhere! Maybe I'll find some exotic meat in those places too! They plan to "unlock new opportunities" with their partners good for them!

Reimagining Khakis? Can They REALLY Change?

This Matt Maddox guy from Authentic says Dockers has a strong foundation but needs to be "reimagined" for a new generation. Reimagined? Like when Usopp tries to invent a new weapon and it usually blows up in his face? Shishishi! Well I hope they figure it out. Maybe they'll make khakis out of meat! Now THAT'S something I'd wear!
