Yabba Dabba Doo! GM Gets a Tesla-Saurus Rex!

GM's New Top Rockhead!

Yabba Dabba Doo! This is Fred Flinstone reporting live from Bedrock and let me tell you the auto industry is about to get a whole lot more… modern! General Motors those smart cookies over in Detroit just snagged Sterling Anderson a big shot from Tesla and a fella who helped start that Aurora Innovation company. They're calling him their Chief Product Officer. Sounds important eh? Like he's in charge of making sure those horseless carriages don't run outta rocks!

From Model X to... Flintmobile?

Now this Anderson fella isn't just any old pebble pusher. He used to wrangle the Model X over at Tesla and even worked on that fancy “Autopilot” thingy. Makes me wonder if he can make my Flintmobile drive itself so I can take a nap on the way to the quarry. Wilma would sure love that! But I bet it's not as effective as using my feet to stop!

Another Tesla Titan Joins the GM Gang

Seems like GM is collecting ex Tesla folks like Wilma collects dino bones! They already got some fellas in charge of batteries and whatnot. Makes you think GM is trying to build a whole new Bedrock… but with electric cars! Guess they're tired of those slow moving brontosaurus powered vehicles.

Gas Guzzlers vs. Sparky Speedsters!

GM is trying to juggle those gas guzzling models with those new electric whippersnappers. And they're trying to make their “Super Cruise” thingamajig better than Tesla’s. It's like trying to teach Dino to play the harp! A tough job but somebody's gotta do it! It's a competition to see who will win this race but my money is on the one who gets to the finish line the fastest!

Reuss's Rave and Barra's Big Bet!

Mark Reuss the head honcho over at GM says Anderson is just the guy to lead them into the future. Mary Barra the big boss thinks Anderson will make things move faster. Seems like they're putting all their dino eggs in one basket with this fella! I sure hope he doesn't drop it!

Yabba Dabba Departure!

So Anderson is leaving Aurora just before joining GM. Seems like he’s ready for a new adventure. Maybe he'll even invent a car that doesn't need wheels! Now wouldn't that be something? Yabba Dabba Doo! That's all for now folks! Fred Flinstone signing off!
