Come On Orlando Let's Go Party!
Hi Dreamhouse friends! Barbie here reporting live from the most thrilling news since Ken finally learned to coordinate his beach outfits! Orlando is about to get a whole lot more epic like 'sparkly unicorn' epic! Universal's brand new Epic Universe is officially opening its doors and it's HUGE news – the biggest theme park addition in Florida since well since I last redecorated the Dreamhouse! And you know how often I do that!
750 Acres of Pure Awesomeness!
Can you believe it? 750 acres! That's bigger than all my closets combined! Epic Universe boasts five themed worlds including the enchanting 'Wizarding World of Harry Potter – The Ministry of Magic,' the super fun 'Super Nintendo World,' and the exciting 'How to Train Your Dragon – The Isle of Berk'! It's like someone took all my favorite things and made a giant playable diorama. Move over Disney there's a new 'it' girl in town!
Money Money Money! (It's a Rich Girl's World)
Okay so here's the real tea: this isn't just about fun and games (though let's be real that's MOSTLY what it's about for me!). Apparently all those tourists flocking to see dragons and wizards are going to bring in billions of dollars! That's right billions! This is supposed to boost Universal's earnings but it'll also boost the whole city and even help that mouse down the road. As Visit Orlando CEO Casandra Matej says 'This is a compelling reason to visit Orlando!' You know what else is a compelling reason? Me! Maybe they'll put a Barbie ride in Epic Universe! I can see it now...
Ken omics 101 (Even *He* Gets It!)
Even Ken understands this and that's saying something! This Epic Universe thing is a massive investment like 'buy every convertible on the market' massive. According to reports Universal Orlando has already made a $44 billion economic impact! I just learned that means lots of new jobs for engineers artists and even architects! Who knew designing roller coasters was a thing? Maybe I should add it to my resume next to 'astronaut' and 'president'.
The Rising Tide Lifts All Dreamhouses!
The best part? All this buzz is supposed to help everyone! Like Casandra Matej said 'It's a rising tide that lifts all boats!' Even Disney might see a little extra sparkle in their sales numbers! It's like when I share my closet with my sisters – everyone benefits! Except maybe Ken who always ends up with the leftover neon leg warmers. I also heard from Jakob Wahl at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions that it'll create more competition which means even cooler and more innovative attractions to lure in guests.
Vacation Extension: Because One Day in Paradise is Never Enough!
So what does all this mean for you my fabulous friends? Start packing your suitcases and get ready for an extended vacation! More theme parks mean more days of fun in the sun more churros and more chances to wear your favorite sparkly outfits. As the saying goes 'Life in plastic it's fantastic!' Especially when it's in Orlando with extra helpings of magic dragons and roller coasters. See you there!

I hope they have a Dreamhouse suite at the hotel!
