Gotham's streets are rough. You need a vehicle that can handle them something that screams 'I'm rich and I can take it.' Apparently Ford agrees. They're launching this 'Platinum Plus' program for their F Series pickups. Starting around $100,000! Alfred wouldn't let me buy it. Says the Batmobile's fuel efficiency is already a concern. Plus he muttered something about 'drawing unwanted attention.' As if *I* draw attention. It's the cowl isn't it?

Concierge? More Like Alfred 2.0

This 'Platinum Plus' nonsense comes with a personal concierge. A concierge! What am I Bruce Wayne on vacation? I have Alfred for that. Alfred can handle anything even finding a replacement batarang at 3 AM. But I guess if you're just a *regular* rich guy a concierge to book your oil changes is… helpful? 'I have one rule: Fighting a losing battle.' This program however seems like Ford is trying to win one.

Virtual Tours? I Prefer Rooftop Surveillance

Virtual tutorial tours are included! You know because nothing screams 'premium experience' like watching a video on how to change your own oil after spending six figures on a truck. I can see it now: me in my Batcave watching a Ford tutorial instead of you know *fighting crime.* But hey at least they're throwing in some 'gifts' and accessory discounts. Maybe I can get a bat shaped trailer hitch.

Smoked Truffle Interiors! Where's the Caviar?

The interior is 'Smoked Truffle' with Venetian leather. Smoked Truffle? What is this a deli? I bet the Joker would love this. He'd probably rig it with exploding condiments. I'm more of a black leather and kevlar kind of guy. Function over flash always. But I guess some people like their luxury pickups to look like a charcuterie board.

Tariffs! The Bane of Automakers

Ah tariffs. The invisible hand strangling the auto industry. Ford's being cagey about how Trump's 25% auto tariffs will affect prices. 'That's a very murky very uncertain very tenuous space,' says Brian Rathsburg. Sounds like something the Riddler would say. But seriously these tariffs are a problem. Bane isn't the only one doing some breaking over here Trump is doing the same to the economy.

Is It Worth It? Only Your Bank Account Knows

So is the 'Platinum Plus' program worth it? If you have more money than sense maybe. If you actually *need* a heavy duty pickup and also demand to be pampered like a Persian cat then go for it. Me? I'll stick with the Batmobile. It doesn't have Smoked Truffle interiors but it gets the job done. Besides I don't think Alfred would approve of me driving anything else. 'It's not who I am underneath but what I do that defines me.' And I'm pretty sure what I do doesn't involve luxurious pickup trucks.
