SHISHISHI! Japan's Inflation is a BATTLE! Can We Still Afford Meat?

Meat Prices?! My Biggest Worry!

Hey everyone it's me Luffy! I heard some confusing news about Japan's 'inflation' going up to 3.6%! Shishishi! Sounds like a big number right? But what I really care about is… will I still be able to afford MEAT?! Sanji better not start skimping on my portions! This whole thing is like when Usopp tries to explain complicated stuff to me – my head just spins! I'm gonna need a HUGE plate of meat to get through this.

The Bank of Japan's Treasure Chest!

So this 'Bank of Japan' (sounds like a place filled with treasure!) is worried about prices going up and down. They want to keep things steady like when Nami tries to keep us from spending all our money! Apparently they were hoping to make their treasure chest bigger (raise interest rates they call it) but now with some scary guys from America (with big tariffs!) they might have to keep it closed for a while. Sounds like a real adventure right? A real treasure hunt but with numbers instead of gold!

Trump's Gum Gum Tariffs!

This 'Trump' guy is throwing around 'tariffs' like he's got a Gum Gum Gatling! Apparently he's putting extra charges on stuff coming from Japan like cars and metal. It's like when Zoro gets lost and accidentally attacks the wrong ship! Except this time it's on purpose! He says he's making 'big progress' but all I hear is trouble for my meat supply! Gah!

GDP – Is it Edible?

They keep talking about 'GDP' but it doesn't sound very tasty. They say it might go down because of Trump's tariffs. If GDP was a food it sounds like it'd be a bad batch of Nami's tangerines! I'm hoping Sanji can still cook up some amazing feasts even if this 'GDP' thing is being a pain in the butt.

The Long Wait for Meat… I Mean Wage Growth!

Even more confusingly some brainy people (like Franky but with even more complicated gadgets) are saying that everyone might have to wait a long time for their treasure (called ‘wage growth’?). It's like waiting for Sanji to finish cooking – but it's gonna take YEARS! I'd be starving! If that happens I might have to steal some of Zoro's sake. Shishishi!

My Verdict? Meat First!

So all this grown up talk is making me hungry! My verdict? We need to find a way to make sure everyone gets enough meat! The Bank of Japan Trump tariffs GDP… they can all figure it out as long as there's meat! If not I'm going to turn the whole world into a giant buffet! I'm gonna be King of the Pirates and King of the Buffet! SHISHISHI!
