He had to step down after bragging about never buying rice because he gets so much of it as gifts. Apparently that didn't sit well with folks struggling to afford their sushi! The agriculture ministry needs to pull a 'Mastermind' move and figure this out or else they'll be singing a sad sad song come election time. As for me? I'll stick to writing about love and heartbreak – it's way less complicated than international rice economics! But seriously I hope they get it sorted.
