The Google Serve: A New Challenger?
Alright folks Nole here! Fresh off the court (well metaphorically I'm writing this from my meditation room) and I've got to say this Google AI Ultra thing has caught my attention. A $250 a month AI subscription? That's almost as much as I spend on gluten free snacks in a week! But seriously the promise of 'cutting edge' AI... that's a serve I might just return. They say it's for those who want to be at the absolute forefront. Well I'm used to being at the forefront baby! On the court of course. I am a tennis player after all although with these AI things coming up who knows maybe I'll get replaced by a robot!
30 Terabytes of Brainpower (or Just Storage?)
Thirty terabytes of storage? That's more than the amount of information I need to outsmart my opponents. As I always say 'You have to believe in yourself when no one else does' but that doesn't need 30 TB of storage it's just the will to win you know? Is it enough to strategize a five set thriller at Wimbledon? Hmmm. Maybe. I bet I could store all my Wimbledon wins in there plus a few of Rafa's French Open trophies – just kidding Rafa all respect. But seriously the price is making me think. Am I getting the value here? It's definitely not cheap.
Gemini 2.5 Pro: Deep Thinking or Just Deep Pockets?
Now they're talking about Gemini 2.5 Pro with 'DeepThink' mode. Sounds intense! Can it predict my opponent's serve like I can? I mean I analyze every twitch every bead of sweat. They’re saying this can be used for deep research. Can it research the perfect gluten free pasta recipe? That would be worth the money right there. They say it includes Flow and Notebook LM with the highest limit. Will it let me write my autobiography faster that I can then sell and make even more money to buy more Google AI Ultra subscriptions? It's getting tricky.
ChatGPT Pro vs. Google AI Ultra: A Battle of the Bots
So OpenAI's ChatGPT Pro is also charging an arm and a leg – $200 a month! Seems like everyone wants a piece of the AI pie. It's like a Grand Slam final but instead of me and Roger it's Google and OpenAI battling it out for AI supremacy. And who are the fans? Well all of you eagerly awaiting to see who will serve up the ultimate technological ace! As I always say 'I am what I am. I can’t change anything.' But maybe I can use AI to change my backhand… nah just kidding! (Or am I?).
Project Mariner: Can It Do My Laundry?
An agent research prototype that can do 10 tasks simultaneously? Okay now you have my attention. Can it do my laundry book my flights and fend off intrusive paparazzi all at once? If so sign me up! Maybe it can even handle my social media. Then again who would post all those inspirational quotes? I mean 'I don’t play for the money. I play for love.' But hey if this AI can help me love the game even more... We're getting somewhere now.
The Verdict: Worth the Game Set Match?
Ultimately Google AI Ultra sounds intriguing but the price tag is hefty. It reminds me of going to a fancy health retreat to restore the body. I will stick with a healthy lifestyle and meditation for now. They're talking about video generation and all sorts of futuristic stuff. I'll be watching closely. Will it revolutionize the world? Maybe. Will it help me win more Grand Slams? The jury's still out. But one thing's for sure: I'll always strive for perfection on and off the court. As I say 'It’s not enough to want you must know how to get.” Now if you excuse me I have to go meditate on whether to subscribe or not.

Djokovic's perspective is hilarious! Love the tennis analogies.

Wonder if he'll use AI to analyze his opponents now.

The laundry comment was spot on!
