Tariffs? More Like TERRIFIC News for Tech!
Alright Beast Crew gather 'round! You know I love giving away iPhones and the news just dropped that the Trump administration is temporarily exempting electronics like smartphones and computers from those crazy tariffs. What does that mean? Less cha ching out of my pocket which means MORE iPhones for giveaways! And you KNOW how much I love giving away iPhones! It's like are you gonna let me win? Let's GO!
Apple's Cookin' Something Good (and Cheaper!)
Tim Cook over at Apple must be doing a happy dance right now. Apparently like 80% of iPads and half the Macs are made in China. Those tariffs were hitting them HARD. Now with this little break maybe Apple can keep those prices down. I'm not saying I'll start giving away MacBooks (yet!) but hey a guy can dream right?
Consumers Rejoice! (But Are They Really?)
Word on the street (aka Reddit) is that laptop prices were already going up. Nobody wants that! And people are already down in the dumps according to some survey. So this tariff exemption might just be the little pick me up everyone needs. I mean cheaper tech = more money for… well watching MrBeast videos duh!
Wait What?! The Plot THICKENS!
Okay hold up. The exemptions are temporary? And might be reversed? What in the Chandler Bing is going on?! This is like planning a massive giveaway only to find out all the money's been spent on… I don't know… a lifetime supply of chocolate pudding! Come on Trump don't tease us like that!

BlackRock's CEO and some other financial gurus are saying a recession might be here already. Yikes! But hey even if things get tough I'm not gonna stop trying to make the world a little bit brighter. Maybe I'll start giving away… I dunno… free financial advice! Just kidding! (Unless…?) I'm 100% sure that helping people is the best way to live life.
China's Take? A 'Small Step' to a BIG Problem
China's Commerce Ministry is calling these exemptions a 'small step' and wants the whole thing gone. I'm not a politician but even I know that trade wars are messy. Let's hope everyone can chill out and find a way to make things fair for everyone. I may not know much about economics but I know if you help people you will always win.
