Tariffs?! What's Going On?!
Okay so I heard the fancy European brands are sweating a little! Apparently President Trump (yep the guy with the… hair) slapped some tariffs on U.S. imports from Europe and now the luxury stocks like LVMH Richemont Kering and Hermes are feeling the heat. It's like they thought they were safe in their ivory towers but even they can't escape the drama! I thought I could escape drama by giving away a million dollars but I guess not! This is worse than when Chandler tried to cut my check!
Made in Europe? More Like Made in Panic!
These brands are all about that 'Made in Europe' vibe which is like their whole thing. So they're not exactly thrilled about moving production to the U.S. because some President told them too. Instead they're thinking about raising prices. Can you imagine paying even MORE for a handbag that already costs more than my car?! It's like 'I'm gonna pass on the price increases to you Mr. Beast fan!' But don't worry I'm sure I can find a way to give away a bunch of them to make you feel better.
Recession?! Oh No!
But here's the real kicker: everyone's scared of a recession! JPMorgan says there's a 60% chance of a U.S. and global recession all thanks to these tariffs. Even the rich people might start thinking twice before dropping a fortune on a scarf. It’s like even they have a budget… sort of. As Jamie Dimon (not the singer of Run DMC) says 'it's likely!' But here at Mr. Beast we ain't afraid we have tons of chocolate!
China's Not Buying It?
Apparently China sales were already kinda slow and now with potential tariffs on Chinese stuff too...double tariffs?! Now that's gotta hurt! So like if China isn't buying the fancy stuff and Americans aren't buying the fancy stuff who IS gonna buy the fancy stuff?! This is a crisis people! It is like giving away a million dollars just to burn it! Bad business move.
The Anomaly
Some experts thought things were getting better but apparently that was just a fluke what experts call 'the anomaly'. Deutsche Bank thinks things could get worse. Citi agrees saying the tariff announcement and market sell off is 'a significant threat to the future of U.S. luxury demand.' This is worse than when I gave away 50 cars and only one person won. The odds are still in my favor but the rich are losing!
Hermes to the Rescue! (Maybe)
So who's gonna survive this mess? Apparently Hermes and Burberry might be okay while Richemont and Moncler could be in trouble. Honestly I have no idea what any of those brands even DO! But don't worry if they all go bankrupt I'll just buy them all and give them away in my next video! Stay tuned because you never know what I'm gonna do next!

Mr. Beast, you're our only hope!

I'd rather have a MrBeast Burger than a fancy handbag any day!
