Alright Beast Crew let's break this down. So I'm reading this article about how the U.S. and China are throwing tariffs at each other like Chandler throwing money in Mr. Beast's Squid Game! Apparently the U.S. slapped some new tariffs on everything and China was all like 'Hold up I'm about to pull a Karl Jacobs!' and retaliated. Now the stock market is having a meltdown. Oops! Don't worry I'm not going to start charging 34% extra for Feastables... yet.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry is out here saying "The market has spoken!" and throwing shade at the U.S. They're basically saying that the trade war started by the U.S. is "unprovoked and unjustified." It's like when Chris roasts me for spending a million dollars on something dumb – except this time it's the global economy! They want to talk things out but only if it's an “equal footed consultation.” Sounds fair I guess. Chandler would probably try to negotiate for free Chick fil A for life.

Meanwhile Donald Trump is chillin' on Truth Social saying big business isn't sweating it. He says his policies will never change. It’s like saying I’ll never stop giving away money! (Which is true I won't!). But like is that reassuring? I don't know man. Even I'm starting to get a little nervous.

The article says the stock markets are tanking like a Jimmy Donaldson's submarine after an hour of use. All the major indexes are down like 5%. Five percent! That's a lot of money even for me. It’s causing fears of inflation recession and slowing global growth. Basically everyone is worried we're all gonna be eating dirt soon. But hey maybe we can make a video about that! "I Survived on Dirt for 7 Days!" (Don't worry I'd probably just eat a steak.)

The market turmoil was exacerbated on Friday when China's Finance Ministry announced it would impose a 34% tariff on all goods imported from the U.S. starting on April 10. Beijing's response ratcheted up investor fears of inflationary recessionary and global economic growth risks. China just made my life harder! I am now fighting in the U.S. and China at the same time.
