It's a me Mario! I got a very important story hot off the press! The Department of Justice just caught some real bad guys. Not Bowser level bad but pretty close! These no goodniks part of an Armenian organized crime ring were allegedly stealing tons of stuff from Amazon. Over $83 million worth! Can you believe it? Mamma mia! That's a lot of mushrooms... I mean money!

From Smart TVs to...Air Fryers?!

These sneaky goombas were posing as legitimate truck drivers and snatching up cargo destined for Amazon's warehouses. They were stealing everything! Smart TVs GE icemakers SharkNinja vacuums even air fryers! Air fryers eh? Maybe they were trying to cook up a big illegal feast! I hope they didn't try to use stolen goods to bake a cake for Bowser. He'd probably want a poison mushroom topping!

Amazon's Got a Case of the Cargo Blues

Apparently Amazon's been having a real problem with cargo theft. They call it 'cargo theft,' how original. They're trying to stop it but it's tough. It's like trying to catch a Boo in a dark room! These criminals were using an app called Amazon Relay to get trucking routes. Then instead of delivering the goods they'd divert steal what they could and sometimes even show up late to the Amazon warehouse *'several days after they were expected to show up'*! What were they doing taking a scenic tour of the Mushroom Kingdom?

Crockpots Keurigs and Crime!

The DOJ found pictures and videos of warehouses filled with stolen goods. Crockpots Keurig coffee machines shampoo grills… you name it! I bet even Luigi could find something he likes in that mess. Though knowing him he'd probably just accidentally break it. Hee hee!

Good news! Amazon cooperated with the DOJ sharing info about the stolen goods and the criminals' accounts. Teamwork makes the dream work! It's just like me and Luigi saving Princess Peach. Except instead of a princess it's a bunch of stolen air fryers! Almost as important eh?

And get this! These guys are also linked to other crimes! Attempted murder kidnapping illegal firearm possession and even health care fraud! What a bunch of koopas! They're even worse than Wario and Waluigi trying to cheat at go karting! Looks like they'll be spending a long time in Bowser's... I mean jail! Wahoo!
