Wahoo! A Deal is Maybe a Done!

Mamma Mia! Mario here bringing you the latest news straight from the Mushroom Kingdom AND Wall Street! Seems like this a Howard Lutnick guy from the Trump administration he's saying they got a trade deal 'done done done done!' That's almost as many 'dones' as times I've jumped to save Princess Peach! But uh oh it's not *officially* done until this 'prime minister' and 'parliament' give the OK. It's a like waiting for Luigi to catch up – could be a while!

Not China? What's a Going On?

Lutnick says he's not messing around with China. That's a Scott Bessent's job he says! So if it's not Bowser… I mean China… then who IS it? Lutnick is a saying his portfolio is "the rest of the world's trade deals." That sounds like a lot of piranha plants to jump over! All this talk is a making my head spin more than when I eat a super mushroom! The stock market liked this news though it went high up like I do when I get a Super Leaf!

Tariff Troubles! Oh No!

Remember that "Liberation Day"? Where a Trump threw tariffs on everything? Turns out a lot of those are on pause like when I get frozen by a Freezie! But the ones on China? They went over 100%! That's more than my score on Rainbow Road sometimes! All this tariff talk is confusing even for me. No wonder the stock market's been bouncing around like me after a trampoline jump!

So who's the lucky kingdom getting this deal? They're saying Japan South Korea and India are most a likely! That's a like trying to guess which pipe leads to the Princess! But who knows what a Trump is a thinking! He's a full of surprises just like a Bowser fight!

All this uncertainty has got business leaders and customers feeling down. That's a worse than when I lose a life right before the flagpole! The stock market took a dive after the tariffs at first but now it's bouncing back like when I get a 1 UP! Let's hope everything settles down soon or we'll all be saying 'Game Over!'
