Mamma mia! It's a Mario here reporting live from the Mushroom Kingdom and let me tell you the news is hotter than a fire flower! Disney that big cheese of cartoons and castles is a suing YouTube! It seems like they're not a happy about YouTube snatching up one of their executives Justin Connolly. They're a saying he's still under contract until 2027! Looks like someone forgot to check their super mushroom supply before signing up for another adventure eh?

Breach of Contract? That's a No No!

Disney's a throwing around words like 'breach of contract,' 'unfair competition,' and 'interference'! Sounds serious like when Bowser steals Princess Peach! They're a saying YouTube knew about this Justin's contract. That's a low blow even for a Goomba! Disney wants a judge to stop Justin from working for YouTube. They're a saying 'You can't a do that! It's a mine!'

YouTube's a Silent! Uh Oh!

YouTube's a not saying anything yet. Maybe they're a hiding in a pipe hoping this all blows over? But trust me Mario knows when the music stops someone's a gonna get hurt! This Justin guy he's supposed to be in charge of YouTube's media and sports. Looks like YouTube wants to be the king of sports streaming just like I'm the king of jumping!

YouTube's a going after live sports like I go after coins! They got a big deal with the NFL streaming those football games for big bucks! Amazon and Netflix they're a all trying to score too. It's a like a big crazy game of Super Mario Strikers but with lawyers and contracts!

He Was Number One! (At Disney That Is...)

This Justin guy he used to be at ESPN and Disney for over 20 years! That's longer than I've been a jumping on Goombas! He was in charge of getting Disney's stuff on different platforms. But now he's jumping ship just as Disney is about to launch their own sports streaming service. Talk about a strategic jump Wahoo!

So what's a gonna happen? Will Disney win? Will YouTube get away with it? It's a hard to say. But one thing's for sure: this is a gonna be a wild ride!
