Shaken Not Stirred by Incompetence

Moneypenny darling fetch me a stiff Martini. Shaken not stirred naturally. It appears the Trump administration has been playing a rather careless game of international relations and not the kind with high stakes poker and beautiful women. A gay Guatemalan man fearing persecution was mistakenly deported to Mexico. A blunder you might say? More like a license to kill… one's credibility that is.

Erroneous Intelligence Just Like Old Times

The Justice Department bless their bureaucratic hearts admitted their claim that the man wasn't afraid of Mexico was based on erroneous information. Reminds me of the time Blofeld tried to convince the world he was just a harmless cat lover. Judge Murphy a Biden appointee – not entirely unexpected – called it a 'horror.' One can only hope the guilty parties receive a punishment fitting the crime. Perhaps a stint serving lukewarm tea in a Bond villain's lair?

A Pattern of Mistakes Or a Nefarious Plot?

This isn't the first time a judge has had to untangle the Trump administration's… let's call it 'creative' approach to immigration. Another poor soul a Mr. Abrego Garcia was sent to El Salvador despite being protected from removal. Is this a simple case of incompetence or is there a SPECTRE of something more sinister lurking beneath the surface? My instincts honed by years of facing down megalomaniacs and their henchmen tell me to keep a very close eye on this.

Due Process: You Only Live Twice (If You're Lucky)

Judge Murphy waxing philosophical noted that 'due process is in some sense a binary.' You either get it or you don't. And clearly this poor chap didn't. It seems some people in power have forgotten that everyone even migrants deserves a fair shake. As I always say 'once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action.' We're rapidly approaching enemy action territory here wouldn't you agree?

Guatemala Mexico and a Very Unhappy Gay Man

Our Guatemalan friend identified only as 'O.C.G.,' fled death threats due to his sexuality. He entered the US via Mexico only to be wrongly sent back there after an immigration judge found he deserved protection. He'd already been raped and kidnapped in Mexico for crying out loud! It's enough to make even a hardened secret agent reach for a strong drink. Make that a double.

The World Is Not Enough (Incompetence)

His legal team is understandably 'elated' by the ruling and are working to get him back. Meanwhile O.C.G. was forced to choose between detention in Mexico or returning to Guatemala where he went into hiding. A truly terrible situation. Perhaps it's time for me to have a 'chat' with the responsible parties. Let's just say I have ways of extracting information that are far more effective than paperwork and bureaucracy.
