Rubio did hit on something important though. He talked about deindustrialization about stripping nations of their wealth and productive capacity. Said it was "not inevitable." You're damn right it wasn't. It was a choice. A bad one. Sent our jobs overseas made us dependent on supply chains that are about as reliable as a synthetic android with a hidden agenda. Europe Going Solo? Good Luck With That.

So Europe wants to be more independent. Fine. Von der Leyen's talking about independence in defense energy tech… everything. Says a strong Europe makes for a stronger transatlantic alliance. Sounds nice but let's be realistic. Independence is great but you can't fight a Xenomorph – or a global power – alone. You need backup. And you need to make sure that backup isn't selling you out to save their own skin.

Appeasement: A One Way Ticket to Disaster

Kaja Kallas dropped some truth bombs too. Said appeasement "always brings new wars." Couldn't agree more. Giving ground to bullies just makes them hungrier. Ask the colonists on LV 426 how well that worked out for them. Oh wait you can't. Because they're all facehugger food now.

Zelenskyy's words cut through the political BS. He's grateful for the help but he also called out past administrations for dragging their feet. People are dying out there. It's not a game. It's about survival. And if we don't stand up to the monsters now they'll just keep coming.

Rubio's right about one thing: we need to rebuild. Reindustrialize. Get our supply chains back. Invest in the future. Commercial space travel AI robotics… these are the things that will keep us alive. But we need to do it together. U.S. and Europe.
