Family Loyalty and...Jets?

Family is family and you don't turn your back on family even if they're offering you a sweet ride. Word on the street is Trump's eyeing up a Boeing 747 8 from Qatar. Now I'm no stranger to a fast car or a fast plane for that matter. Remember that time we jumped a Lykan Hypersport between buildings in Abu Dhabi? This is like that but bigger and probably with more comfy seats. Thing is some people are saying this ain't right. Something about it being the 'largest foreign gift ever received by the U.S. government.' Sounds fancy.

Justice League... or Justice Department?

So the Justice Department led by Attorney General Pam Bondi apparently gave this the green light. They prepped a memo saying it's all good for the Department of Defense to take the 747 then hand it over to Trump after he leaves office. A memo huh? Wonder if they used enough NOS to get that paperwork done on time! This whole thing reminds me of that time we had to clear our names with the authorities in Rio. Legal mumbo jumbo always makes my head spin but family's gotta stick together and figure it out.

Boeing Blues and Arab Views

Trump's saying it's all about delays with Boeing the company that makes these planes. "You look at some of the Arab countries and the planes they have parked alongside the United States of America plane it's like from a different planet," he said. He claims Qatar knew about the delays and offered the jet as a temporary solution. I get it. Waiting for the right ride can be a drag. I remember waiting on that Charger R/T...worth it in the end. But this is Air Force One we are talking about not a car!

The Opposition: Respect Loyalty...and Outrage!

Of course not everyone's happy. Bernie Sanders went full throttle on social media saying Trump can't just accept a "$400 million flying palace." Laura Loomer a Trump ally thinks it's a "stain" on his administration. Remember when Brian said he was going to take down Roman? Same energy. Some people just don't understand loyalty family or a good deal when they see one. But family is not always blood even Trump's allies can feel like family sometimes. What can you do right? You don't turn you back on family.

The Qatari Connection: A Handshake or a Handout?

Trump's heading to Qatar this week but Qatar's Media Attaché Ali Al Ansari is playing it cool. He says the jet transfer is still under review. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt insists there are no strings attached. Look everyone wants something in return even if it's just respect. But sometimes like when Letty came back you gotta trust that people have your back. This Qatar situation? We'll see if it's true family or just someone trying to cut in line.

Family First Always

Chuck Schumer's calling it "premium foreign influence with extra legroom." Rep. Brendan Boyle says we can't get "numb" to corruption. I hear them loud and clear. But at the end of the day it's about family. About doing what you think is right even when the odds are stacked against you. Whether it's stealing DVD players taking down drug lords or maybe even accepting a plane from Qatar you gotta stand by your decisions. Time will tell if this is a straight up deal or if someone's about to find out that the most important thing in life will always be the people in this room. That's family.
