Alphabet Soup of Disappointment
My dragons have seen better days than Alphabet's stock which plummeted a staggering 8%. It seems even the great Google is not immune to the winds of change. Apple however is 'actively looking' at reshaping its Safari browser with AI. Perhaps they aim to become the new dragons of the tech world? Let them try; I have faced worse odds than this. 'When you play the game of thrones you win or you die. There is no middle ground,' and in the stock market there is often no mercy.
Uber's Mixed Bag: More Like a Direwolf Pup Than a Dragon
Uber's shares slipped nearly 2% after mixed first quarter results. Revenue came short but earnings surpassed expectations. It seems they are caught in a storm of their own making. As I once said 'I will take what is mine with fire and blood!' but perhaps Uber needs a less… forceful approach. Maybe just a better marketing strategy.
Arista's Cloud Castle: A Minor Tumble From the Sky
Arista Networks fell 6% after a narrow revenue beat. They narrowly beat revenue estimates but managed a solid beat on the bottom line. It appears even cloud computing can't escape the occasional storm. It is like when my dragons aren't at their best it's only a matter of time before they get up and fly again.
Lionsgate Roars Back: A Studio Reborn
Now here's a story worthy of a dragon's hoard! Lionsgate Studios surged nearly 20% after separating its studio and STARZ businesses. A full separation into two independent publicly traded companies. From the ashes of restructure a phoenix rises. A lesson for all: sometimes to conquer one must divide... but only if it benefits you in the long run!
Disney's Magic Kingdom: Reclaiming the Throne
Ah Disney the House of Mouse! They climbed 11% after a stellar earnings report and raised their full year outlook. They're even building a new theme park in Abu Dhabi. It seems even the most established Kingdoms can reclaim their position and be even stronger. Perhaps they should invest in some dragons; it would certainly boost attendance. 'I am Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen First of Her Name the Unburnt Queen of the Andals and the First Men Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons.' and even I can appreciate a well managed entertainment empire.
Novo Nordisk's Weighty Matters: A Battle Against Copycats
Novo Nordisk added 2% predicting improved Wegovy sales. But they predicted that the sales would increase once they get rid of the copycats. Much like my battles for the Iron Throne competition can be fierce. 'If I look back I am lost!' so Novo Nordisk keep your eye on the prize and incinerate those copycats... metaphorically of course.

I wonder if Khaleesi invests in crypto...
