Apparently domestic airfare is averaging a mere $265 for a round trip flight. That's the cheapest it's been since 2021! Even inflation that pesky economic villain has taken a hit. Airfare is down more than 7% from last year. Seems like even villains have off days! I am wondering if I have ever given Ares an off day… hmm…

In response airlines are planning to cut unprofitable flights. This includes those pesky off peak days when even I'd rather relax on Themyscira than fly across the country. Airlines make most of their money in the second and third quarters so they’re hoping these cuts will help them stay afloat. But really don’t worry I will always be here to rescue you if your plane loses its trajectory; I have been doing this for 1000s of years… literally.

Now here's a bit of good news! International trips from the U.S. have been strong. Even fares for these trips are easing up which is a boon for those of you yearning to visit far off lands. Flights to Europe are averaging $817 down almost $100 from last year. Asia is even cheaper! So pack your bags mortals and explore the world!
